I had Entourage as a part of the mac office suite for years and it synced with my iphone calendar fine - no problems. Now that Entourage has been replaced with Outlook the calendars can no longer sync. It's ridiculous and makes Outlook fairly useless for mac and apple device users. The fact that it's worked in the past in Entourage and isn't possible now leads me to believe it's a design fault (either intentional or not?)in Outlook. If that's the case it needs to be addressed to make the product valuable to all users.

this is stupid! I'm now going to spend a day migrating to apple mail as the inability to click a diary invitation and it to go to my apple calendar is a showstopper, causes diary chaos.

We were using Office 2010, but upgraded to 2016. I have ALWAYS been a MS and Windows fan, but Apple makes it harder and harder to not switch.

Agreed. I want to use Outlook and it is infuriating that it doesn't sync. I am sure it used to

Why Outlook 2016 cannot sync with iCloud for windows?

1. for those who do use Outlook 2016 for Windows, you can use the iCloud for windows to synchronize the calendar
2. I suggest the Outlook 2016 for windows could add an independent function "add iCloud calendar shown in calendar" -

Its time that Microsoft got its act together and sorted this issue. They are charging dam good money for this program. What is the point in just having the email facility when you can't use contacts or schedule meetings etc across all devices. Unreal.

Honestly, without this feature I've been ripped off. Outlook is branded as an enterprise solution. With this, and other handicaps on the mac platform, it clearly is not.

Ridiculous. Full featured email application does not accept ical. Who needs this app with basic support for common protocols!
