Add Sticky Notes or Notes to emails in Microsoft Outlook 2016
Keep 'open item' emails in my inbox, and while we can categorize them to help them remember what's what, it would be very helpful if we could add a simple note to the Inbox view (i.e. without having to open the email), just saying "with John for review", or "sent to group, awaiting feedback", or "chase by Friday".
Perhaps the 'comment' functionality from Office could work, with just a little speech bubble that opens when hovered over - this would make my life MUCH easier!
Also, it would be good to attach a little sticky note to an email for email works. Also I would like to see visual updates on sticky notes for certain work tasks, adding a sticky not that once you enter a comment it displays it all the time, looking more like a note and a stamp.
Not just inbox but any folder view.
It will be helpful to have a 'note' function to write quick short notes on the email received such as "Steve is dealing with this therefore call Steve on ..." or "no longer relevant due to ...". This will help to remember what action you took with regards to that email if there is a future query on that particular email. Currently the task function lets you assign the email but this does not help with the above. Or you can mark is as completed which again does not allow how it was done or what was the action taken and why.
Add a feature to allow notes or comments (sticky notes) to be posted/linked to an email in your inbox.

I checked the e-mail. and then I would like to memo for the e-mail that I read.
for example plan, appointment, explain, detail record and so on .
Although flag function have some status for reviewing, I always feel shortage.
so, I want to insert the memo function in the e-mail.

Add notes to emails as you read them or act upon them. You are able to flag but not state why they are flagged. It would be helpful to remember why something is flagged.
when I read mail list I can flag for to do today or tommorrow with red color ..
is there any Memo funtion that I add some comment in mail list?
I would like to be able to add personal notes in emails (similar to a post-it). Often I have multiple tasks to complete in a single email; it would be very helpful to be able to leave myself a note with some info about where it stands.

I often use my inbox as a to do list. When a task is done the mail is deleted or archived.
However, it would be great to be able to enter a note or create a history inside a mail. Say you call a customer and he will get back to you in two weeks. After two weeks you open the mail again but have forgotten what you said. With the possibility to make notes with timestamps this would be a no issue and a great function.
The use of mail would increase dramatically with this function, at least for me ...

Additional option: once you indicate/ mark an email from the categories. we could add in the color strip more specific notes.
YES PLEASE!!! Something like Excel when you add a comment to a cell. It adds a "flag" and when you hover over it, it expands with your editable comment. This would be SUPER HELPFUL along with the "Flag" and "Categorize" tags! I waste a lot of time trying to follow-up on what action is required for each e-mail!

It would be good to have this, especially if we use a shared inbox. It would be good if it displayed similar to the category function available in outlook.
This would definitely interest company's who use outlook for shared inbox for support to their clients. Would make it easier for the support team to work on emails without getting in each others way.

Email Comment Note: a bubble note ability to add a sticky note to a particular email in various colors to make notes or intention reminders
Allow to put a note or comment on read e-mails in summary view that gives great visible guiding about the next action.
It would be much easier to scan through the list of e-mails.

or better, create a simple system to have a collaborative inbox (like gmail). easier than sharepoint teamsites, easier even than outlook groups. Just a simple tool for everyday work !
it would be great to associate notes in outlook with some mail like in microsoft Word. near the red flag for example, you click on the note and you see it in a bubble. It would be VERY GREAT

Please introduce the possibility to attach annotations to emails received , to serve for the person receiving the email can make it his personal notes without having to edit or modify the eMail . Something like a sticky note attached to the eMail as a memo for the exclusive use of the recipient
