Add Sticky Notes or Notes to emails in Microsoft Outlook 2016
Keep 'open item' emails in my inbox, and while we can categorize them to help them remember what's what, it would be very helpful if we could add a simple note to the Inbox view (i.e. without having to open the email), just saying "with John for review", or "sent to group, awaiting feedback", or "chase by Friday".
Perhaps the 'comment' functionality from Office could work, with just a little speech bubble that opens when hovered over - this would make my life MUCH easier!
Also, it would be good to attach a little sticky note to an email for email works. Also I would like to see visual updates on sticky notes for certain work tasks, adding a sticky not that once you enter a comment it displays it all the time, looking more like a note and a stamp.

Allow mail follow up reminders to leave comments or/and notes. We would like to have a better email trail on issues waiting for resolutions.
As I read an email, I often have thoughts of things that need to be followed up on, edits that need to be made, or just general ideas that are not suitable for tasks. However, those thoughts get lost and I have to remember why it was that I hadn't filed the email away yet.
The ability to add comments in a calendar (the same way you can in Word). Managing multiple calendars, I would love to be able to put a note either to remind myself of something or let my executive know something. Like if I know someone can't attend - I can make a note so my executive can easily see. Or they can write me a note while they are thinking of it.
I would like to be able to add a sticky note to an email for my records
in tasks or mail make a note against work to date on an email response or task. When working a flaged mail or reponse in inbox sometimes there is awaitng inforamtion and there is no way to add this status update to the email at source. You can run anothe rlink in one not or something but thats a mess.

Can we at least do thing step by step, say, just to add a feature to include plain text note for a mail, add some richer text format for the notes later on?
some e-mail do not have specific info for the sake of privacy. the recipient of such an e-mail should be able to add a note with whatever info they wish for future reference.
Be able to create and update notes next to an email string only visible to the user.

It would be very useful to be able to attach post-it notes to saved emails. For example, to note how much time was spent dealing with it.

Emails trigger actions and reminders in the receipient.
Every email should have an icon where the person could attached notes.
At the beginning could be simple text, and could evolve to HTML document.

It would be very helpful if there is an add-on to add a question or a suggestion to the organizer of a reoccurred meeting or a one time meeting, without adding notes to the meeting body content and send an update to everyone. this only goes to the organizer.
add a notes field next to the email next to the activities. The note will then remain connected to the email.

Dobrý den, v Outlooku bych rád využíval funkci, kdy bych si mohl k přijatému emailu udělat poznámku., jak jsem s emailem pracovat. Někdy se mi nepodaří ho vyřídit celý ihned a nechci ho odložit, abych na něho nezapomněl. Když se k němu ale vracím, tak přes vyřizované množství ostatních bych přivítal určité připomenutí formou poznámky pro rychlou orientaci. Moc by mi to pomohlo při práci s Outlookem.

Hello, I would like to use the function in Outlook where I could make a note about the email I received, how I work with the email. Sometimes I don't manage to deal with him all at once and I don't want to postpone him so I don't forget him. Connect notes to specific mail items, for instance as a quick step. Much like a flag adds a mail item to the task list.
Make a tag that allows you to add a note to a mail item, and file it under My Notes. But keep the connection to the original mail item.

I would often benefit from a digital post-it I could 'stick' to an e-mail with toughts, actions, for a later time. Somewhere I can pin my remarks, so that I do not need to go through the entire e-mail conversation when action is needed on a later date. That whenever you reopen the mail, your comments are visible & you know what to do immediately.
Please add the possibility to take a note or comment ON the e-mail in the Inbox (like the add-on Messageware TakeNote), avoiding that this note or comment is sent if I reply to the e-mail.

1. Have the Email Notes available on Outlook Webmail and permanently appearing on the right panel (or at the top/bottom of each email) whenever an email is selected, showing the note’s functionality of viewing/adding/editing.
2. Have the Email Notes contents searchable from the email normal search function, and when the search results appears, it should list all the emails that has the notes matching the search. When clicking on any email in the search result, it shows the email as well as the note on the right pane (or at the top or bottom of the email), while having the ability to add and edit the note.
3. have the Email Notes syncing between Outlook 365 desktop and Webmail so that all users can read real-time the added notes by any user of the Email Distribution group
There should be a way where you can make a note to yourself what you want to with that specific email that you cannot address right away.
