outlook configuration sync across machines
Using Office 365 and desktop Outlook, sync the configuration of Outlook for any machine I run it on. Carry through Office 365 my Outlook settings for appearance (message header display, etc.) and client-side rules and folder expire policies. Also add calendar color sync function across devices and for all the protocols. Also t would be great to have a feature where Calendars could synchronized without having to send event invites to different Outlook accounts.
I'd like you to fix Office 365's incompatibility with Outlook sync so that Samsung Galaxy S7 Smartswitch syncs again, as it did before I 'upgraded' to 365.
Is it really the case that I cannot synchronize Outlook 365 and outlook.com calendars and contacts? It is extraordinary that all the advice says to use Google as an intermediary, with an add-in such as Outlook4gmail. Am I being really dumb here, and missing something obvious?
I must work between Windows and Mac devices constantly. The lack of parity in application form, function & features is maddening! Can you please address this, soon!

How many countless times did I have to reconfigure all the Mail accounts that were configured on an old machine...
I don't care if the sync doesn't contain passwords. Better enter 5 passwords on a new machine than configuring account settings for 5 accounts.

Please optimize the synchronization of rules between Outlook 2016 and Outlook.com. Currently it takes over 30 seconds for Outlook 2016 to synchronize a news rule from itself to Outlook.com.
It should not take over 5 seconds.

AutoCorrect & Macros in O365 can help significantly optimize workflows for users. One AutoCorrect entry will work across multiple Office products, but when I log in on another device, my AutoCorrect Macros have to be recreated. Can these settings not span devices like other O365 settings do?

For this to happen it would need server side rules in place. Just like in most business that use servers to do so.
I also have numerous email accounts from a private ISP, and one Outlook.com account. All go on professional Outlook on my PC, and then the new light Outlook on my Win phone and tablet. I'd like to see the config stored in OneNote and then available for propagation on a variety of devices (allow the PC to be pop and the others IMAP).
What is really huge for me is to also sync account info. I use 5 e-mail accounts, and I would like to use outlook on my desktop, but also on surface book without having to setup Outlook separately for each account.
Being able to point to a configuration file would be sufficient for me, though cloud storage would also be ok (though slightly privacy concern with credentials)
I store the configuration file on a network location and point both machines to it, or in worst case just copy it.

Don't forget signatures!
Sync of Outlook calendars across PC, Surface, and mobile devices should be easy for the user. We need a good utility, or a non-Exchange mechanism, to do this.
I would like to see the rules I create in Outlook sync to Outlook.com. Make them server side rules.

I would like to be able to easily sync my Outlook app calendar with my Outlook desktop calendar. Without a 3rd party app or using outlook.com
outlook nhas a huge bug - programmer bug. - in hte area of multipe device as well in the past. forthe program the rusels have to check on the NEW donwloaed items when conect tot he mail boxs.
se all from last connection time stamp email as new and apply the rules ot it.
not only on the unread once
Firefox & Chrome can sync settings and configs. Numerous other programs can. How old is Office and it still can't sync settings?
Quit adding eye-candy and make Office truly useful.

My Outlook 2016 mail system does nto even sync to the provider's webmail. I really am not happy with Outlook 2016, it does not work properly and Microsoft does not seem to have the capability to fix it.
