Please add “new Journal Entry” to options for adding to “quick tool bar”.
You should be able to track your daily task, accomplishments and meetings...to see your set goal and elaboration self fulfillment even emoji expression to represent inanimate object or feelings or pictures of the day or places frequented. Lots of self data.
Also, being able to pull up a history of contacts, their emails, docs relevant to that contact and notes in a timeline summary area like Journal is efficient to use and helpful for researching past contact activity. This is especially true for the self employed. Please bring back these features!
Also, please add “new Journal Entry” to options for adding to “quick tool bar”.

Journal is such a vital function. I have multiple roles and this allows me to track communication, and information on completed items, there is nothing like it. Also as it is tied to my .pst file, I know my IT division will always have it backed up and supported.

Microsoft want people to move to the cloud, we have moved to the cloud and now they want us to user an external email address as a Journal mailbox? This makes no sense to me.
We should be able to set an internal mailbox as a Journal mailbox like we have been doing for years in Exchange on prem.

Why are you doing away with Journal. It isn't even a category selection? I can't add it to my easy access buttons in outlook. I have to turn on folders to even see the journal folder. You've removed the easy Journal icons which you can add to your command lines. Like record in Journal. This is beneficial when you use the Journal extensively. Things like Meetings were easy to add to your journal entries. Now I can't.

Return the JOURNAL that recorded everything you did and worked upon, including the dates, and time spent upon these tasks. The old systems JOURNAL was very valuable to me and I used it a lot. To have to stop and waste valuable time to make a dumb journal entry or make notes is just that A WASTE OF VALUABLE TIME WHEN IT SHOULD STILL BE AUTOMATIC!!!!!
The journal was such an integral item that was used multiple times a day. PLEASE make this available again!!!!!
Please add "new Journal Entry" to options for adding to "quick tool bar".
Also, the earlier versions of MS Outlook applied this automatically since I post every action in a JE, so to keep my time for consultation billing. Currently I have to leave any folder I'm using, click on Journal, and pull up new Journal Entry; which is time consuming.
I would appreciate one or both of these previous actions to be added back.

Yes pls ,bring back auto logging activity in journal feature back
It's sad its manual now :-(
It was a pity that the automatically log of office documents was discarded. It really was a helpful function.

Example: I am working for different jobs and different customers.
I need sth. which counts time writing a message on behalf of one customer, do a calculation on behalf of another customer etc.
Goal: Recreate Journal in order to make it easy to read out, how many minutes were spent to one project or another or spent for private. Perhaps "flags" could be set

Just learn about journal feature last week and now it has disappeared. This feature was fabulous for keeping multiple emails and conversations separated but being able to find them quickly. The time it would have saved in the past. I was going to present to my organization but now it is gone. PLEASE BRING IT BACK.
The reason I choose Outlook was because I could connect my e-mail and agenda with the journal. Now I lost this connection and I am totally lost...
Please bring this function back in a proper way.

I used regularly to track timelines of correspondence and reaction times to messages. I really miss this feature. I finally upgraded my outlook as we changed to Exchange 2016 and find this functionality to be missing.

Bring the Journal back to what it once was. As time marches forward, I find I must track my time more and more accurately; Journal was wonderful for this. Also I use it all the time for tracking conversations and even my thoughts. Searching and sorting this information is tremendously useful.
The function to track time used for each task and show in pie chart for analysis.

You really need to put Journal back in Outlook ... I used it religiously in my old software ... Prefer to have it all in one place in outlook rather than having to use a different Journal program
Please restore Journal with automatic tracking option for Office files (Word, Excel, etc).
