Search Function doesn't work
When I search some words like "OT" on the outlook email, it shows all the email and the email including "OT"; it just highlight "OT".
For Example:
Email 1
Email 2 with OT
Email 3 with OT
Email 4
Email 5
Email 6 with OT
It shows all the email
Can the outlook just work simply: only shows the email includes those key words?
Like this:
Email 2 with OT
Email 3 with OT
Email 6 with OT

Mentions search folder
Mentions was a cool addition, but the feature seems incomplete if I can't create a search folder for all mentions, the same I can setup follow up and unread folders.

Expanded Find Pane
There should be an Expanded Find Pain (like the old More) to allow searching on any field(s) especially user fields.

the search results may be reported latest to oldest instead oldest to latest searches
when the number of messages are huge, it is taking too much time to search the old conversations. it is because the search in indexed items are taking place from older to newer messages. it would be ideal to provide newer messages appaear first in the search results

Disable Sorting search by folder as default
I use search extensively. Every, single, time, I have to arrange search results by date rather than folder manually, because the default is "arrange by folder". (Right click on "All↓" under the quicksearch bar. I have hundreds of folders, I assume this feature is useful for certain people, but not being able to change the default behavior is strange to say the least, it's such a specific customization either way...why offer the options if you can't change the default.

Provide a feature to enable "Search Folders" for labelled tasks and calendar events in Microsoft Outlook 2016 according to work projects. It will also lead to avoiding use of search function for emails that have the same "Category" label and if search folder would be available for tasks (an even calendar events) as well.

Support Full Search Capabilities when Outlook is running in elevated mode
Outlook Search is not working when Outlook has to run with adminstrator privileges. There should be an option to enable this as other programs require Outlook to run elevated - like e.g. Microsoft Visual Studio (!).

Simply search.
Simplify search. A.Click on a mail. B.Click in the search box. C.Click on "From" and it automatically populates the senders name from A.
Even better, click on a mail and click from (not currently displayed however).

Fix Searching Outlook 2016
More than 90% of the time search will not find the mail while the Search text is word for word in the mail. Even worst is the fact that it finds mail that does not contains any words of the search box. Search also exclude additional mail boxes in my case the most

Remove 1000 search results issue
Like the title says, Outlook does not allow me to see past 1,000 search results from my inbox. When we have emails that we would like to see from a long time ago without having to go on a "mining expedition" throughout the inbox to find them.
Not even the "SearchResultsCap" registry edit fixes this issue. Please Microsoft, fix this!

Add a search option for items that are expired
Please consider adding an option to search for items that are marked as expired from a retention policy under the "+ More" search options. The option to search for items that are expiring in a time period are helpful, but I believe it would add even more value to the search to be able to pull up expired items.
Thanks!
