  1. Make the banner indicating you are not responding to the latest email more visible.

    I would like to see the banner when replying to an email that is not the latest in the email thread to be more visible. In addition to this, a prompt forcing to click an acceptance box when trying to send the email could be helpful.

  2. Show the weekday in meeting invitations

    When receiving a meeting invite, the time, date, month and year is shown. But the weekday is not. And there doesn't seem to be a way to easily see this (hovering over the date, or changing a view setting) without opening a calendar. It would be good for the meeting invite to show which day of the week the invite is for, or allow you to 'hover' over the date to show the day.

  3. When viewing calendars in Overlay Mode, show entries that are the same on multiple calendars as one entry instead of side-by-side

    When viewing calendars in Overlay mode, all entries are slways shown side-by-side. This is not optimal for entries that are the same in multiple calendars because the same Information is displayed multiple times and is truncated.

    Example 1: I have two accounts, one from my employer and one from our client. I need to maintain both calendars, so on all appointments I'm invited with both accounts.

    Example 2: I need to coordinate meetings with other people. Many meetings are with these people anyway. With five or ten meetings displayed side-by-side I can't see any detailed Information about these meetings and…

  4. On the calendar, in the Daily View, Work Week View, and Week View there is a blue horizontal line to indicate the current time. I'd like to

    On the calendar, in the Daily View, Work Week View, and Week View there is a blue horizontal line to indicate the current time. In the two weekly views, I'd like to suggest that the line be darker in the middle when the line crosses the current day of the week. This would help emphasize the current day of the week and make finding 'now' much easier.

  5. Provide a feature or an option to sort Rules in alphabetical order in Microsoft Outlook 2016

    Can you please have the "Rules" for dealing with emails display in alphabetical order, or at least have this option. They currently display in chronological order only.
    This will make finding a rule easier when you have a lot of them to edit/update etc

  7. Appointment item icon to indicate whether required meeting participants accepted when looking at multi-day, week, or month view

    How often do we join a meeting only to find out not all the required attendees accepted? "Let me see if XX accepted...oops, looks like no response. I will try to ping him/her, otherwise we reschedule."

    With full calendars, no one is going to sit there and check them one at a time on a daily basis. This could easily be solved by a simple icon on the appointment item "pill" indicating whether the meeting is "viable" or not. A user could then take action, like prompting required attendees or rescheduling.

  8. Provide a feature or option to assign colors to Calendars in Microsoft Outlook 2016

    This is not for the "categories" for color-coding each entry... those haven't really changed, and although I would love more color options, it works. BUT, I'm really sad that the new "Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016" Outlook calendar color options have been severely reduced and honestly folks, these colors are sad. Get rid of pink. Forever. Or make it the 30th choice. So hard to look at. We need more than 9 options... I regularly have far more than 9 calendars open and need to be able to quickly differentiate.   9. Black screen privacy button on task bar - toggle on and toggle off

    Add a feature which would allow users to click a button on the task bar to go to a black “privacy” screen. The suggestion is to turn the screen black except the task bar at the bottom. Then you can click the button to unveil your screen and return to your work.

    The Outlook team is working on this update. We will add support for adding and updating events on family calendars as part of an overall improvement to shared calendars in Outlook.

    We will post a subsequent status update when the shared calendar improvements are available for you to use in Outlook. Our current ETA is to begin releasing to subscription customers who are using Outlook 2016 this summer (July 2018).

  12. Add CC BCC To eMails By Default

    In Outlook 2016 please, PLEASE add the option to show CC and BCC when composing/reading an email. Having the only option to click a down arrow to see the CC or BCC is not a "feature". It's a pain.

  14. Automatic Replies - Please provide an All Day Option

    Currently automatic replies shows:
    Only send during this time range:
    Start time: [date] [time]
    End time: [date] [time]

    can you add an "all day" option like every other modern calendar has so I dont need to set 12:00 AM for start time and 11:30 PM for end time?

  15. Provide a feature to search recipient email address automatically if we enter phone number in Microsoft Outlook 2016 when composing emails

    At present , if we put user name or user id in outlook for enterprises , we can search the e mail address for the recipient. Provide an option to search and display the email address of the recipient if we enter mobile number of the recipient in TO / CC / BCC field, with Control K option , provided the contact has been stored by entering all the information including phone number(s).

  17. Provide a feature to make To Do List accessible and track-able and export it from Microsoft Outlook 2016 to other platforms

    Access & track your "To Do List" while you are on the go. In Outlook smartphone app, separate app or even exporting the list to keep following up in excel file. That would be more productive if Outlook would export it to To-Do application as a ready list.

  18. show day of week for the appoint in the When field

    When you open a Calendar Invite from my inbox, the day of the week is shown at the top. However this is the day and date that the invite was sent.

    eg: Fri 04/10/2019

    The actual day of the week of the appointment is not shown on the "When" field. It shows just the date.

    eg. When 11 October 2019 Location 5 John Doe St.

    It would be great if the When field showed the day of the week too

    eg. When Fri 11 October 2019 Location 5 John Doe St.

    I have regular commitments that are always on the…

  19. In calendar appointments, include leading and trailing buffer to allow for physically going to a meeting room

    Colleagues might squeeze a 30 minute appointment in between 2 other meetings which are 30 minutes apart. You then have 3 adjacent appointments, which IN THEORY look fine. But IN PRACTICE:
    - Your first meeting might run out for 2 minutes
    - Your last meeting might require you to physically go to a meeting room in another building, taking you 6 minutes.

    Currently I need to create additional 3minute-something appointments to insert some leeway, which I’d usually not take the time to do.
    It would be very useful if Outlook would allow for a "lead time" and "trail time" buffer…
