Compose window entry fields for TO and CC are way bigger than text label in latest update to Microsoft Outlook 2016.
The entry fields for TO and CC are taller than the spacing of their labels to the left. This leaves less vertical space for the Subject entry field (both not aligned to its label, as well as narrower than the TO & CC fields), and looks very sloppy. Please revert it to the older format or provide an option to select between the new and old format.85 votes
WHY DOES MY IDEA KEEP GETTING DELETED?
Allow a user to click any phone number in any email to dial.
Automatically detect phone numbers in plain text emails, and convert them to clickable links (with the TEL: prefix).
Many modern mail applications already utilise this (especially on mobile apps like Gmail to avoid the tedious select, copy, switch app, paste, dial).
Many modern offices utilise SIP phones which can facilitate call requests.1 vote
It would be great to have an option to open the folder where the message is stored.
So you open a message and within this message you can click on "see in folder" like on MS File explorer.
This would be particularly useful for search result lists...6 votes
Users should be able to choose the interface they would prefer to use. Color/spacing/kerning/shadows/font etc. both custom/by template.3 votes
Why is it we still use email the same way we did 20 years ago? We have an inbox, like a mailbox, that all email comes to but it does not allow us to sort or see things based on criteria we choose. I get hundreds of emails a day, which honestly consumes most my day. What if, there was another way for us to interact with our Inbox rather than just a simple list of which has arrived last? Groupings, Projects, Leads, Family, Friends, etc... To make it less time consuming and more friendly.1 vote
Provide a feature of star rating which can be sent to the receiver. The feature should also enable the receiver to rate.

Sometimes I need to reschedule a meeting because someone responded to a meeting with "Tentative" or "Decline". Outlook currently provides no way to directly navigate to the corresponding meeting directly from the meeting response e-mail that I received.
It would be a great time saver if I could jump to the meeting directly from that e-mail. Outlook already shows the meeting details (time and location), there could be a button next to it to open the meeting.1 vote
It would be amazing if Outlook functioned similar to VScode in the way of extensions, themes and customisability. The ability download a spam filter extension, or inline hyperlinks/ attachment styling etc. Or build your own extensions to manage your mail how you want would be stella!
More customisability and community involvement would make the outlook experience more enjoyable.1 vote
