  1. Decline but not participating

    Today we can only chose from "Accept", "Tentative" or "Decline" when somebody propses or invites to a meeting. A lot of times you need to know about the meeting and get the meeting notes but not participate, for ex. for exacuative people, people in a high leadership role etc. My suggestion is that we have a "Decline not participating" option so that we still have the meeting in or calenders, get the meeting notes, updates for next meeting etc.

  2. Start appointments and meetings delayed

    Since Januar 2019 we have the calendar options to end an appointment early. It would be nice to also delay the start time by e.g. 5 minutes.

  3. Please highlight the day of the week in the calendar

    I would like the day of the week to be highlighted across the column. I would also like the hour to have an indicator line going across this hour through the days of the week.

  5. integrate a meeting time survey

    Integrate a function to survey a group of people inside and outside your organization on available times for meetings. Trying to sync up meeting times is frequently the hardest part of scheduling a meeting.

  6. Final Recurring Event Confirmation/Extension Prompt

    On the final day of a recurring event (for example, a daily reminder to perform a backup), it would be nice to be prompted at the scheduled time for Calendar to say something like "This is your final recurring event. Do you want to extend this recurrence?"

    I have had situations where I have set recurring events for a certain time period, and then forgotten all about them because I was no longer prompted after the expiration period had completed - if that makes sense?

  7. Ability to send the meeting invitation with optional days/times.

    Sometimes it is necessary to invite people with two or three options but only one of them should be accepted. All options should be visible at one time in the calendar and the organizer of the meeting should get an overview of the participants feedback (acceptable/perhaps/declined) in a table with a summary how many participants are available for each option to decide the day/time. Different meeting rooms (one for each schedule) should be accepted as well. Once the decision is made, the unused options should be declined automatically.

  9. Provide Calendar categories in Outlook App on Android

    I need on my Smartphone the same Categories like on desktop computer. The Categories should be synchronized on the Smartphone as well.

  10. Show the weekday in meeting invitations

    When receiving a meeting invite, the time, date, month and year is shown. But the weekday is not. And there doesn't seem to be a way to easily see this (hovering over the date, or changing a view setting) without opening a calendar. It would be good for the meeting invite to show which day of the week the invite is for, or allow you to 'hover' over the date to show the day.

  12. Default duration for new appointments and meetings set to <var> minutes.

    In Outlook for Windows: File-> Options-> Calendar. In Calendar options there is "Default duration for new appointments and meetings" value that could be set to 30 min, 1 hour, 1,5 hour and 2 hour.

    An organisation have a need to decide themselves the duration of the new meeting by default. F.ex. 15, 45 (academic hours) or 50 minutes.

    Create an option for skipping weekends for reoccuring meetings. Include a follow up option to move the item to the day before or after. For instance, when a fixed due date (e.g. credit card bill) or a birthday falls on a weekend it either needs to be manually moved each month/year it falls on a non business day, or it risks being missed (or popping up as a reminder after the fact).

  15. Switching meeting organizers when selecting reply with meeting from an e-mail.

    The biggest pain point with scheduling meetings on the fly is not being able to change the meeting organizer if I select "reply with meeting" from an e-mail. I am an Executive Assistant to Executives around the globe, so scheduling meetings on their behalf becomes complex when I cannot easily switch back and forth.

  16. Ability to print multiple calendars (such as personal and public calendars) using the Print Options feature. Save paper and more efficient.

    Ability to print multiple calendars (such as personal and public calendars) using the Print Options feature in order to print all relevant calendars on a single page rather than a separate print out for each calendar. This allows each user to fine tune their print calendar print outs to include both the Public calendar entries plus their own personal calendar entries. This feature will be more efficient and prevent missed appointments due to incorrect allocation of appointments to wrong calendars. This will be environmentally friendly with less paper use.

  17. Under 'Contact Attendees' of a meeting, add the option 'Email attendees who did not answer'.

    Outlook offers the option to send an email to all attendees of a meeting. It would be great to have the possibility to send an email only to attendees who have declined, or to those who have not yet answered. This would avoid unnecessary reminders to those who have already answered.

  18. Have option to revert meeting "Title" field to its old area when creating new meeting.

    Since the latest update new email and new meeting are not consistent as to where we write the Title or Subject. It would be better to have the field in the same area as it was before.
