Automatically Minimize To Tray On Launch
There should have the option to automatically minimize to tray on launch for Outlook. Most applications have this feature. I feel it is a security risk and also highly disruptive that Outlook pops up on screen whenever it updates while I'm in the middle of coding or trying to have a discussion with a coworker.
Currently, Outlook 365 (I am not sure about 2016) has an option to "hide when minimized" that can be selected by right clicking the tray icon, but this does not produce the behavior that most users would expect. Specifically, it does not behave the way Skype or Teams does. With Skype and Teams, closing the window minimizes it to the tray. With Outlook, minimizing the window sends it to the tray. This is confusing and probably leads many users to miss important messages. Please standardize the behavior across applications. There are two other similar suggestions. As a corollary, there should be an option to start Outlook minimized to the tray (as with most programs that minimize to the tray).
