Provide a feature to retain table when creating tasks from an email in Microsoft Outlook 2016
Currently, while creating tasks from an email, the table present or created in an email is getting converted to text which should not happen as a normal behavior. It should be retained as a table even when the task is successfully created avoiding any unwanted change in formatting and avoiding mistakes with the layout.
Retaining attachments would be very helpful as well.
Alternatively, maybe creating a "link" back to the original email would be even better. Extra credit for listing all associated tasks when viewing linked email.
There is a feature to convert an email to a meeting invite, which brings the subject line and all the contents of that email into the meeting invite.
Similarly a feature to convert an email to a task will help bring the subject and contents of the email to the task before it can be assigned.
