Provide a feature or an ability to hide Search Bar in Microsoft Outlook 2016 or make it collapsible to save landscape space.
Add in the ability to hide the search bar that appears at the top of the mail, calendar and contacts sections or make it collapsible to save landscape space.

Yes please do this!
Extremely annoying on computers with low monitor resolution (laptop)

Agree. That huge white space above All | Unread just looks wrong. The whole search bar area should be hidden/hideable until you need it... which for me is very rarely. Why aren't the Search features on the Ribbon, like everything else?

This is quite annoying, huge dead space around the Search box, you broke this recently and it's very obvious. Come on...

With reading pane off or at the bottom, there sure is a lot of wasted space around the search bar and All / Unread tabs. It seems like they could at least be combined into a single row.
Agreed, waste of space and for someone who values white space on email, this makes it even tougher. They could keep the ellipses or something to hide/unhide but not default to on screen. I have even moved to compact "New" view and it is still there.
Have to say it just wastes space. I don't think I've ever used it.
They could make it like it was before.
