Need option for disabling "Other Suggestions" for email addresses
I like to have autocomplete but hate the "Other Suggestions". I am unable to find a way to disable that. It is VERY counterproductive, especially for emails that are no longer valid and I don't get option to remove it
So people have been complaining about this for over a year. Does Microsoft even monitor these discussion boards?
Storing private information without consent and with no way to delete it is just illegal. We should file a class-action lawsuit against Microsoft.
very annoying that personal emailadresses shown up in 'Other Suggestions' cannot be deleted.

All I'm looking for is the X option to delete invalid addresses from Other Suggestions like we can for Recent Suggestions.

The worst things with other suggestions list is that it harvests emails from phishing and spam emails which were never replied to and does it even if the email is reported as a phishing attempt.

workaround which will revert Outlook to use the old auto-complete method:

please add option to turn off Other suggestions.
Personal emailadresses show up in 'Other Suggestions' and there is no way to delete these adresses ? That's unbelievable, why ? Where are these emailadresses come from, I see adresses I never received from or send emails to? Is Microsoft even allowed to do this ?
Spam email addresses get saved and accidentally suggested.
Would be nice to not need to disable the updated version because of this, which i have to now so that this isn't an issue.

Can't remove phising and spam addresses, even if the address has been Ignored.
Unable to get rid of a phishing email address because it shows up in the Other Suggestions list, not Recent suggestions.
I want to remove 2 personal email addresses from my suggestions list. The instructions in your Help features don't apply for some reason. When I type the name in the To field, there's no X option. There's also no Suggested Contacts folder.
This is a work email so I just want my work email to be retained, the one I'm currently using. Although I can turn off the suggestion list, the 2 personal emails I mentioned still appear when my colleagues search for my name.
Can you help me? Thank you.

YES! This is soooo frustrating. When an email is typed in wrong, it continues to come up and try to populate when I search for that recipient. Please PLEASE give an option to disable the list or at least to delete individual email addresses!
If you have a typo in an email address it is placed in "Other Suggestions" and can't be edited or deleted. It will come up before any other email address. Need to edit or delete the "Other Suggestions" cue.

This is suggesting spam addresses that users are accidentally then sending emails to.

This should be an option we can disable. We have a few internal complaints about the fact that we can't do nothing control this option.

In the Outlook client, with the functionality of Auto-Complete, you can remove the Recent People suggestions, but are unable to remove or disable the Other Suggestions options. This is a huge limitation and can inhibit work-flow as invalid or irrelevant options are offered and selected with no option for removal/alteration.
This "feature" has resulted in me sending emails to old &/or wrong email addresses. It makes no sense that I can't turn off "other suggestions" or at least remove email addresses from "other suggestions" that are wrong or out-of-date.

I found a way in the registry to disable that feature.
Add is a DWORD value of 1 called "DisableAutoCompleteUpdate"
However,,,,Microsoft doesn't have a way to edit "Other Suggestions" in Outlook rather than just disable it...which is what i need.
one suggestion was to use OWA and you can remove "Other Suggestions" from there but that didn't work
100% agree it's very frustrating when Microsoft introduce these new features which frustrate end users and don't give any way of controlling them or turning them off!
