How can we improve your Desktop Outlook 2016 experience?

Outlook must provide the ability to allow to accept or decline part of a recurring meeting.

If a requester has sent a recurring meeting for the entire week and the attendee plans to be attending it just one day a week, there must be a way to indicate that in which case all other instances of that recurring meeting should fall off the calendar.

Provide the ability to decline a meeting going forward WITHOUT removing previous occurrences of the meeting. This will allow you to review your calendar history to see what meetings you have attended without impact from the future events on your calendar. additional alternative would be to add ability to "lock" calendar history from editing after a variable time period.

    1. Be on a recurring meeting with no end date
    2. Leave the team
    3. Continue to get updates to the meeting for months until the meeting organizer updates the meeting to no longer have you on it

I want a way to say "I will never ever go to this meeting again, please take me off it so that I never get updates for it".
