Replace "Reply, Reply All, Forward" or the "Discard, Pop out" buttons back to to left.
They are now on the upper right hand corner, whereas before they were on the left.
On large, widescreen monitors, these are never in your direct line of sight and are "hidden" out of sight in the upper right hand corner.
This is super inefficent, as on a big screen you just need to move left and right and most of the time i dont see it.
It should be moved back to the left.
What were they thinking! Is a awful feature! They should fire designer(s) that had this terrible idea
Simply inefficient. I'd be curious why this was done but I'm afraid that it will lead to someone trying to rationalize the move of the buttons to the right side of the reading pane. Were people complaining that it was too easy to reply to an email or accept/decline an invite and would really appreciate it if they spent more time moving their mouse to the right side of their screen?

Please revert this. Having these buttons way out on the right side is very inefficient.
WAY too much time scrolling right to click an option to then go back left. Please move them back to the left, or provide option for us to choose. Might look pretty, but wastes time. Are you all still doing user testing before rolling out these changes? It might seem like a minor change but it's not, it has a huge impact, a negative impact.
Change it back: my preview pane changed size the reply reply all and forward moved from the left side which was very small and out of the way to top rights side and much large of the preview pane. In older version of Office the 'Reply', 'Reply All', 'Forward' icons will be smaller and placed at the top left side of the incoming emails. Outlook changed its user interface and those icons are moved towards right side and enlarged. This is one of the new interface changes.
Please put it back to how it used to be.

Please put the reply/forward buttons back on the left. Please move the date and time of the email back to the left or at least give us a chance to move it back ourselves.
Agreed. Please back to the left side of the message. The clean view is nice, but this part is not functional.
Please move back to left or add a feature to let me chose where buttons are aligned.
Totally. What idiot decided to put them somewhere out of convenient reach?

Give options to be more granular about Preview Pane views and Message Headers
This is the most idiotic and wasteful change you've made so far.
It wastes time. It is INEFFICIENT.
Everything should remain on the right, where it previously was, as 99% of us use it that way. Who in their CORRECT mind would even think this is acceptable?
PUT IT BACK NOW!
Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid Stupid "changes"

another horrible and purposeless change from micrsoft
I spend most of my time on the left, in folders, file, home, view, new mail button etc.
I read from left to right - like most of the world
I type from left to right - like most of the world.
Now that the frequently used reply, reply all, deiscard, popout are on the right, I go back and fourth from left to right, wastefully mimicking windshield wipers as I spend most of my day going from left to right
what a waste. what a useless change for the sake of changing something just to be different.

Unlock the action buttons from the right side of the screen (Delete, Reply, New Mail, Move, Back, Next) so that they can be snapped into place in a more useful location between the Mail Preview and the Viewing area. In the current location, you have to mouse back and forth across the screen in order to use the action buttons.
Put the Discard and Pop Out buttons back on the left side of the email. Or let us choose.
Patrick Brodeur commented
As others have mentioned, this put the "Pop Out" too far away. This button is really important when using formatting in emails, e.g. adding inline responses in another color.
The reply/reply all/ and forward buttons are easy keyboard shortcuts, so it's not as though the mouse will be on the right side.
The workflow makes much more sense from selecting an email on the left side panel, acting on any attachments etc on the left side of the preview. When replying/forwarding, you can then immediately move over to edit the To and CC lines, and pop out if needed.
Discard could still be left on the right side, so it takes a more conscious effort to delete the draft.

Move Respond buttons back to the left side of the Reading Pane.
The buttons have been moved to the right side of the Reading Pane in the latest update. This introduces a lot of additional mouse navigation as most other actions are concentrated on the other side of the screen, especially for meeting requests which do not have an alternative response button in the tool bar.
