Outlook should remember its windows sizes and positions
When I open a new Windows inside Outlook for e.g. the Calendar or Tasks, pick a position for it and resize it according to my needs, it should be saved, so once those windows are closed and then reopened, I don't need to do this again.
An older Office Version had this feature, but it seems to have been removed.

Microsoft doesn't care whether their products work or not... they just care about their "Image"... no matter what is in a contract, willful negligence allows someone to sue and seek damages.
Resize Outlook (for mac) to the size that you wish to view. Then do a force shut down of Outlook - then re-open. This worked for me.

My experience is the same as Andy's, sometimes. This is a bug, not a feature. Outlook has worked without this annoying new ability to forget how I had the previous windows configured, for years. It still works that way on one of my older computers with Office 365, Outlook Version 1807, Build 10325.20082 Click to Run. However on a new machine, with recently installed Office 365, Outlook Version 1906, Build 11727.20244 Click to Run, when I open a second window, it forgets how I had that view set up last time, and opens to a new smaller window size, in a different position. Thus I have to constantly resize and relocate before I can work efficiently. This issue is consistently bad/irritating and wasting my time. Solutions/work arounds mentioned here do not resolve the issue for me.
Please MS, fix this software error.
Please also spend enough time to get stuff like this consistent and correct as the product is "improved", instead of wasting enormous amounts of your installed user base’s time, chasing or working around problem after problem.
Hello, is there any news on this? It's not just the Office/Outlook windows but also the size+position of Win Explorer as well. Just recently moved from Win7 to Win10 and cant believe I need to reshuffle windows every time I re open one.
This is standard functionality...what's happening MS?

This has changed with recent updates to Office. Outlook is no longer under the left task bar. However the window position is still not remembered.

Same as some other commenters. Both Outlook 2016 and 2019 both open behind the taskbar if you have a left side vertical taskbar.
When I try to make outlook save the "new e-mail" widows position, Outlook really tries to do so. BUT on my PC, the window position moves a bit to the right every time a new e-mail is opened. The consequense is that after opening 3-4 new emails, the X-close window is outside the screen. To close the windows with the mouse, I then have to drag the window to the left to se the X-close window icon.
One important point to add. The program does restore to the same size it was left in. However, the position is not correct. I have my taskbar in a vertical orientation and the program always starts up on the far left, partly underneath the taskbar so I have to drag it to the side every time to where I had it previously and where I want it this time.
This just hit me this week after an upgrade to my Office install was pushed on SUnday

When this is issue will be fixed? My bank (employer) has 22k desktops/laptops with this issue (read productivity issue).
