location schedule on calendar
Add a new feature to the calendar where I can set work locations. For example, MWF I might work out of office A, while on Tuesday I work out of office B, and on Thursday I work from my Home office. I would like to see scheduled locations in Teams and viewable by people scheduling a meetings.
Right now, I set a tentative item on my schedule when I'm not in my "regular" office so I can view my upcoming location schedule. This can be misleading to people trying to schedule meetings.
This needs to be back ASAP, please! It's a basic feature in Google Calendar and I can't understand why it isn't available in Outlook
Our office used to use google calendars which automatically connected with real time map information when you started to type in a meeting location. We just switched to Office 365, and I CANNOT believe that Outlook calendar does not have a similar feature!!!

Why was this removed!!! 90% of my appointments are out of office and 80% of those are booked through Outlook desktop. Put location by maps back on Outlook and everywhere desktop wise with office 365
100% of my appointments are with real world addresses, this feature is essential for modern business operations!

In order for the Outlook calendar to be most useful it MUST be connected with a map and allow for real world addresses to be linked with the appointment! It's strange that we are here requesting this feature. How else do you think people schedule appointments?
Im a consultant driving sales at many clients - having the ability to input the client address, which is clickable to open a map, would be a huge help to getting me where I need to be.
Similarly, if the meeting is a conference call, allowing a conference number to be in the location field that is clickable to open the phone dialer would be great,
This used to work and was taken away - please bring the feature back instead of limiting the location field to an "outlook meeting room". Too many people rely on their calendar to drive their daily business, and restricting the location field impacts many people.
I am a lawyer and meet with clients regularly at their office locations, worksites, or even when going to Court having the location feature back in the calendar app, will help a ton! Not clear why this extremely useful feature was taken away in the first place

I want to go back when you would start typing in an address and it would give you address suggestions!! Please microsoft! what are you doing?!

Type in an address and a gps map is linked to the address! This is a no brainer!

Removing the ability to just type in a "location" to an appointment, rather than having to specify a "room" from the contacts list is ludicrous. Please return this feature.

There are many people who are on their own, calling on clients that live/work around a region. We need the ability to quickly pull a client's physical address from their contact record into the location field of an appointment, and then be able to see that appointment in our calendar and click on the locatioin to bring up driving directions on our mobile devices. In Office Outlook 2016 and earlier, we could do this but in the current version of Office365, we can only do this in OWA. Please bring it back on the desktop version.

Location schedule: A resource that I can schedule on calendar so that co-workers know where I am planning to be at the time they are scheduling a meeting. Therefore when I am in India I will not get invitations to mid-day EST meetings which would be in the middle of the night for me. For those of us who travel this would be an invaluable asset to utilize calendar.
When scheduling a meeting calendar would show me that my 2:00 PM meeting is actually your 7:00 PM time since you are in Europe this week. But I can move the meeting out a week when you are in California and then the 2:00 PM time works for both of us. Of course the resource would auto-matically adjust to the local times and as I travel to help compensate for travel delays or detures.
A number of our staff go between a number of offices. Like the suggestion above, I too include a free appointment in my calendar to show where I am.
Skype already has a good go at guessing where I am on a particular day. Whether that's using my phone or the Wifi network I'm on, I don't know. Surely can't be difficult to extend that to planned locations.
you can use the option of working else where
I work for a busy cardiologist and the location schedule would be very useful for him, me and my coverage person when I am not in the office.
I'm finding this exaxt issue in my new organisation. It's a nightmare scheduling meetings, with emails and telephone calls to establish locations on certain days for the required participants. Unfortunately our company doesn't have videoconference or skype for business as an option (budget) and there are a number of occasions when face to faace is required eg workshops, Steering Committee etc.
I'm a project manger.
EXACTLY! This a major issue in my company. We like to schedule face to face meetings if a person is scheduled to be in an office that day. It would be important for this location setting to be visible to others scheduling appointments in the basic free/busy view since this is the default view of most users.

Really good idea. Needed companies with multiple offices and/or where you have frequent work from home days.
Ideally would be able to set a standard schedule. E.g. Mondays in London, Tuesdays in Edinburgh, Wed-Fri in Birmingham. Then override as and when needed.
