search box in outlook 2016
When adding individual search boxes by subject, sent, folder, body, attachments, etc, these are added vertically in a column and end up taking a log of vertical screen space, and leaving a lot of unused screen space to their left. It would be preferable to optimize the use of screen space, and allow the user to move the individual search boxes around (up,down, left, right) afterwards, as needed.
Also, make the search box a little bit bigger.

The latest UI changes are horrendous. The massive dead/white space area around Search bar is really annoying...
outlook search box wastes lot of space, should be in-line like it was in earlier builds... https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/outlook-365-2019-search-tool-box-position/2a9fab0c-7045-4277-a685-a2ffe9543b15

Please add the ability to quickly apply a folder to an email by providing a "search" text box in the ribbon bar just like in the web outlook email. This feature is a major efficiency when you have hundreds of folders. Please add it.

I'm a minimalist. Please let me customize the Search box, let me hide/integrate in options ribon/minimize it!
When attaching an Outlook item to an email (ie. an email previously sent) can you make the search box bigger? It's took me ages to find what I was looking for and I couldn't sort by date because the box was too small to show that header.
Bring back the outlook 2013 "down arrow" search shortcut in the search box. With the down arrow you used to be able to refine for "Subject", "From", "To". Now you have to click in the banner to activate this filter. Outlook 2013 was much faster.
Make the search box a little bit bigger.
