Calendar category colors used to print, why no longer?

Bring back colored categories for calendar
Unchecking "grey shading" doesn't print my task categories in color. They need to bring back the way it was in 2010 feature.
I thought I was the only one with this issue, I have used categories forever, I really want them back. Outlook 2016 has not been my friend.
Thanks to Anonymous on June 13th! On the format tab "Print using grey shading" is checked. Uncheck it. Stupid change. I expect many people are frustrated by this.
it allows a color but instead of seeing green, red, yellow, blue, etc. I just see everything as purple. Dislike very much.

I agree We use the print outs for department heads to better communicate who is out for whatever. The color categories are a great help!
If you go to Print -> Page Set Up, you will see the option to print in color. In Outlook 2016 its default is B&W.
