Default send Address for replies and new mails
I have a only receive Mailbox and every time when i reply to a message i must change the mail-address.
There should be a option to set a default send mail-address for new mails and replies. Add an option for allowing you to confirm the outgoing email account when using outlook for multiple email accounts.
There are addins for this function.
I think this is a very crucial function and i don't want to install 3rd party add-ins because of this. Please add this as default function to Outlook 2016.
I manage a few inboxes such as info mailboxes and project specific mailboxes that are shared within the company, but I am unable to change the default "From" mail to my own when replying to or forwarding these mails.
For the time being I've acquired permission to reply from these adresses, but ideally I would like to send from my own mail.
NB - It IS possible (and easy) to change "From" but when you're in a hurry, you forget this, so it is simply the default "From" mail address I would like to change.
In outlook web app there is an option called "Set default From address". This is missing from the Outlook desktop app. Please implement this in the app. This option should be configured per email account. Without this option is a pain to use your own email address (I mean your own address with your own domain name, which feature was provided with Office 365 Home, Premium feature). Outlook.com has this feature, the android app has this feature, but the paid Outlook desktop not.
For new messages, I would like to be forced to select the from address rather than defaulting to using whichever mailbox I happen to be looking at when I click the new message button. Sometimes I get excited and start a new message without noticing which mailbox it is sending from, only to discover when I get a reply that I used the wrong one. This is critical to me because I work in the public sector and everything I send from my work mailbox is a public record. I would like a new message to prompt me for a FROM: address either when I start the message or when I send it.
Alternatively, allow me to have separate instances of Outlook for each mailbox like Windows Phone 10 does so I have to be in the mailbox I want to send from to start a message.
