How can we improve your Desktop Outlook 2016 experience?

Increase the number of color options in the Outlook Calendar palette from 9 to 16-25, increase contrast, and allow user editing of colors.

I find that I cannot change the color of agenda items or calendar items for my email accounts in Microsoft Outlook. I use various Android apps on my tablet and phone, that allow me to show Agenda items and Calendar items. If I use gmail, I can easily select a color, whereas with Outlook accounts I cannot change the color to suit my preferences.

I have just installed the new Outlook update and unfortunately had to realize that there is still no option for bold colors in the calendar. It can not be that difficult to apply the colors of the categories to the calendar colors. I am disappointed with the problem that has existed for years that many users have complained about.

Please update the calendar color options and UI to match the online version. The calendar coloring is from the 1980's :(

I need a wider range of colors to assign to calendars. As a color blind person, this is extremely important in order to quickly and easily identify the different calendars that I need to coordinate while scheduling business activities.

Bonus points to allowing you to use an Office Theme (*.thmx) and for supporting full RGB color spectrum.

I agree to all people who have reported this. The bright strong color-set which was usable in Outlook for so many years has to be replaced with such a shimmering translucent color-set. These colors online seem legit to dress our girlfriends in lace pantys. Please do yourself a favor and bring the old strong colors back (at least let the users choose the color-set)

    Thanks in advance

PLEASE, please, please, please - I beg you!!!! Allow us to add more colors to the palette, or at the very least, change the grading from lighter to darker. The current calendar colors are horrible! As a project manager I have multiple projects and phases happening at the same time - your current color palette is not conducive to helping a team visualize staggered items. Important especially since font color can't be altered in calendars. Not sure why you'd think that a black font will be visible in a dark gray, dark green, etc... color scheme currently offered for categories & tags.

The range of colors offered in for categories is too limited - there should be a way to add customized colors and extend the number of colors available.

Please support using an Office Theme (*.thmx file) and custom colors (full RGB / CMKY definition).

Use color to define areas of screen view, and add more color options for calendars.

Due to the recent update it now means an IMAP account doesn't support calendar colours. It did until a week ago! Please change this so I can use colours again for my appointments, I am really struggling without them.

The color category buttons disappeared from my list !!! How can I return it. Can't find any solution

Calendar color not only should be increased but also work: due to some bug, new appointments on Outlook don't allow me to select a category/color anymore. I guess interns are taking care of Outlook consumer products now... What a disgrace...

Support RGB definitions for the color palette used by Categories. Support using color palettes defined by Office Themes (*.thmx).

Please provide a wider range of color options for different Outlook calendars. Many colorblind users, like me, cannot tell the differences in the color palette provided. Why not allow users to assign any color to a calendar? This would help in the creation of calendars that are easy to distinguish from one another.

Any help you can give us colorblind users in this area would be most greatly appreciated. Thanks!
