Merging Outlook "Account"
My laptop originally came with Windows 8 as its Operating System. When Windows 10 was released I installed it immediately, not problems, plus I really enjoyed the new UI. Everything was working just fine until the Windows 10.3 update came alone.
I installed it of course. Over the course of the first 2 weeks my computer would stall after 3 hours. A couple more weeks it 2 weeks. I was starting to loose work. In the next 6-8 weeks it became so bad that as soon as the main UI page appeared, windows would stall.
I took my laptop to a Microsoft store. After 3 hours of tinkering with it, they came to the conclusion that somehow when Windows 10 installed over Windows 8 there were problems and that these problems became catastrophic with Windows 10.3 update. So I bought a 2 TB hard drive so they could back up my files and they told me they basically had to wipe my laptop and start from a brand new, fresh, whole Windows 10 and begin adding things back in after they installed Windows 10.3
A week later when they had finished, they called and let me know my laptop was ready. So they spent about an hour going over everything with me.
Before I go on, the Staff at the San Jose, CA Westfield Valley Store are PHENOMENAL!!! I have been in a few times, including when I bought my wife the Surface Pro 4 she had been ogling for Christmas. Absolutely TOP NOTCH staff. They really know everything they need to know and then some.
While they have me review my laptop to make sure everything was working correctly, I noticed all my contacts and calendar entries were gone. They spent another hour trying to figure out what happened.
There only solution was to create a second Outlook 1 account, but it still didn't have ANY of my contacts. One of the Techs was able to restore my contacts to just plain Outlook with everything from my iPad Pro 9.7.
It is a pain to go back and forth in the To: section.
I would love to be able to merge the 2, Outlook and Outlook 1. That would be ideal because all my archived email only exists on Outlook 1, and all my contacts and calendar updates ONLY exist on Outlook.
At the very least I would like to be able to merge the Contact lists. That would be enough for me.
Thank you in advance for you help
