Provide a feature to Customize Account Names for email accounts configured in Microsoft Outlook 2016
Provide a feature to Customize Account Names for email accounts configured in Microsoft Outlook 2016 maintaining case as well as re-arrange their order in navigation pane. similar to Windows 10 Mail app. Also It would be helpful for those who are visual to have the option to change the background color of each mailbox, (Inbox, Sent, and Trash), to avoid confusion when quickly navigating between them.

Who thought loosing this ability was a good idea?

Really need to restore this feature. Cleans up the folder list on the left and allows width of folder pane to be smaller (important on smaller laptop/tablet displays).

If you have changed to a primary email account the name should also change with it

For legibility this is a should, for usability it is a must. My client uses his company's mailaddress for an Oulook account and he of course uses his company's mailadress itself. He thus has two accounts of the same nem and no possibility to distinguish between them.

We handle multiple payables@domaines.com. Therefore we got a long list of "payables" with no way to see wich account it is. Please at least us use the full email adress. Or better yet, let us set the visible name.

After a long time I switched back to Outlook and really wonder why such obvious things are missing.

Please, PLEASE make this feature available again! It's a pain for us and our customers, to work with mutliple "Inbox"-Favorites!!!

There are many reasons why users want to rename the root folders of their mailboxes. This was a welcome feature, now lost. Please reinstate it. Thank you.

Having access to over three Office 365 accounts it would be great if this would be possible once again.

I have three IMAP accounts configured in Outlook. I need these to have meaningful labels and not the full email address which is quite lengthy. I have the accounts set up with the correct names but Outlook won't show that in the left pane anymore. I am using Outlook 365.

Please reinstate this feature. Theres no reason to have removed the option in the first place. Thank you

This simple feature is missing. It should be added and is needed for people with multiple accounts. Really surprised missing the simple account rename feature.

Remarkably unhelpful to have variants of outlook_2750CBAE2F000XYZ@outlook.com in the accounts list

Changing the display name of an Exchange account only as it appears in the left hand pane of the Outlook 2016 desktop application is what I and others would find very useful.
