Enable Archive button to be manageable by policy
Entreprise configuration for Archive folder
We need an entreprise way to configure the Archive folder. When clicking on the Archive button for the first time the user can choose a folder. She can also select another folder by using the Options menu. But we need a way to preconfigure this for all users, and also to lock the folder which is used for archiving.
Should a phishing attack succeed, it would be nice if any protected information be kept in a secured Archive folder so that the cyber criminal would not be able to get into that folder. Maybe require another password to get in that folder. This would minimize the damage the cyber intruder may be able to do and provide another layer of protection.
The option to select specific folder for archiving has been removed.
This was a time saving feature allowing our staff to quickly and effectively tidy upi their InBox.
Please bring it back
The backspace Archive function works fine on personal mailboxes but whenever used on a shared mailbox it causes Outlook to crash instantly. Please add an option to allow the user to appoint a specific folder for shared mailbox archiving or just remove the feature from the shared mailboxes completely.

When accessing an Auto Archive is can be slow if the user has many items.
All the user to specify a limited number of items to cache locally or a way to speed up access when clicking on items or folders in the archive.
This can be similar to download headers only then when the user clicks on an item it would download.
Allow visible folders to be created within the directory structure to which emails can be transferred using storage capacity outside of the mailbox restriction. Allow archived files to be moved back and viewed easily without 'restoring' from an archive file.

Archiving can be granular, what is good. However, it is difficult to keep all organized. It will be nice to have a archive management window.
