Add additional Calendars to the To-Do Bar
Add additional Calendars to the To-Do Bar.
Outlook 2016 only allows you to view the events located in your default calendar in your to-do bar. Having a feature to add multiple calendars overlapped in the to-do bar calendar would provide a better understanding of my daily schedule. One particular calendar I'd like to add to the to-do bar viewing is a shared calendar so using only categorize to filter is not a viable option.
Having a feature like this would allow for an easier way to view your schedule at a glance in the to-do bar.

Agree with all the other comments and am beyond surprised this isn't available, especially considering it used to be.

In the outlook main view the sidebar for meetings/events only will show for one calender - however in the full view for calenders you can combine multiples together for one hollistic view.
Life would be easier if I did not have to traverse to the full view to see meetings from other calenders.

What's incredible is that this option was available on the To-Do bar of Outlook 2007 and 2010 and is no longer available on 2016.

I previously used Puresoft Outlook ToDo which allowed entries from multiple calendars to be displayed. It would be great to have this functionality with the native To-Do Bar.

I agree with the comments below. In the meantime, can you change the default calendar on the email view pane to someone else's shared calendar?

I too am using Puresoft Outlook ToDo Pane. I am not seeing instability issues but I'd prefer to have a built-in functionality since the addin is not supported anymore and any change in Outlook may make it unusable. Many calendars in the ToDo bar are a MUST, as is the option to show two months in vertical.

We really, really need this functionality. I have 2 calendars and often forget an appointment on the 2nd one because it doesn't show on the to-do bar.

MS, what are you waiting for to allow calendar overlay in the to-do bar ?

Why do they continue to ignore something so freaking simple and frequently asked for?

The lack of this feature is driving me nucking futs every day.
This, and Microsoft's stubborn unwillingness to put a unified inbox into Outlook.

Absolutely disgraceful that such an obvious gap in functionality cannot be resolved after so many years

Count me in on this feature request. I use Puresoft's Outlook Todo Pane because it provides this feature, but unfortunately, it appears to cause Outlook 365 to become a bit unstable after running for several days, and the plugin in no longer supported. Thankfully, restarting Outlook resolves the instability issues, so as long as I restart Outlook every day or two, it remains stable.

This feature would be awesome as an executive assistant.

Yeah, the suggestion of using calendar categories is woefully ignorant of how people use calendars in 2019. I have multiple shared calendars for all the things going on in my life. Not being able to see upcoming tasks from all or a subset of those calendars based on my preference is hugely disruptive to the practicality of the to-do bar.

Agreed. I have been trying to figure out a workaround for this for our end users
