Fix Searching Outlook 2016
More than 90% of the time search will not find the mail while the Search text is word for word in the mail. Even worst is the fact that it finds mail that does not contains any words of the search box. Search also exclude additional mail boxes in my case the most
The search feature needs to be overhauled ... it is just not working although indexing is completed.

Filtering E-Mails (e.g. unread) does not work, although indexing ist completed.
A catastrophy for me ... :-(
cursor won't move in body of email
The search feature needs to be overhauled ... it is just not working. Super frustrating as it is a feature I used to use all the time.
wtf, this is a basic function MS can't fix ????
word search in body in bad, but even worse is the search using operators e.g. from, to... which only works if you get an exact match, or (surprisingly) if you type initial of people... completely wide of the mark, no wonder why bing search delivers such poor results! ^^
Did anyone figure out how to get the search results fixed?? You cant reach anyone. This is very frustrating. Very unhappy customer.
Outlook 2016 is terrible. Indexing screws up with every update pushed out and Microsoft Support is the actual worst. If i wasn't forced no way i would use it personally.
OUTLOOK SUCKS WITHOUT BEING ABLE TO SEARCH!!!!
I find the same - poor - really poor - outlook is still nowhere near as good as Entourage was 20 years ago (excellent and fast search facility)

Searching is not working!!!
The issue is due to recent Microsoft updates. Our entire company is affected by this and I know there's a lot of other companies down as well.
There's been quite a few updates that have broken the search functionality and there was a patch the Office suite that resolved it but now it's broken once again and there's no more patches to patch the patches. We are on the latest version of Office 2016(Build 8201.2102) and we have PCI DSS compliance to adhere to so I make sure every client is up to date with OS updates.
Below are the updates that break this search functionality for at least Win 10 clients, I don't have Win 7 or 8 clients tested yet:
KB4022725 for Win 10 (Core Release 4 1703)
KB4022715 for Win 10 (Core Release 3 1607)
Same problem here:
After last update my "Search"-function got disabled, giving a fault with each search task
Can this please be solved asap?

Search is not useful any more. A search for "farrell" finds no e-mails, but a search for "Farrell" turns up lots of e-mails. WHY???
Microsoft is losing more and more users commented
I doubt that Microsoft really checks our feedback here?
I have the issue with (Office 365 version 1704 build 8067.2115 Click-to-Run) - and I've also tried to repair the install to no avail.
I've created a search form using "+ More" and it works fine except that when I click "Close Search" then open it again, the "From" field is still populated from the previous search and I cannot delete the content using either the delete key, backspace key or right mouse button context menu. The only way to proceed is to remove the "From" field from the search form and then add it back.

Make the search function look in the complete email including subject and attachments automatically without the need to specify any segment / options.
It doesn't even search the subject without selecting this option.
I can get the 'search' to function in the archives but not in the most recent or non archived emails whether inward or sent. I have completed the indexing and the upgrade but no appearance Your Worship on a successful search

according to the following article, this issue can be resolved, but my only work around was configuring IMAP.
Does Microsoft Plan on resolving this issue? Currently is there another work around because re-indexing did not work?
