Option to export email account settings (Server Information & Advanced Settings) in Microsoft Outlook 2016.
Ability to export individual email account settings including name, email address, server information for incoming and outgoing, username, password and the advanced settings to a file.
The file that is created can be imported on another computer. All that needs to be added is the email account password.
Or you should persist all Outlook settings on the server, so when a user gets a new machine everything is EXACTLY the same way it was on his old machine
Every time I install or re-install Outlook, you have to (unless I'm missing something) completely RE-add and RE-configure your email accounts, one-by-one. If you have many email accounts, this is a ridiculous pain in the @$$. Can you please add the ability to export all email accounts/settings into an exportable file, so that they can be restored with a few mouse clicks?
And while you're at it, how about the ability to save (store) your commonly-used email servers (e.g., "pop.server_name.com", "smtp.server_name.com"), so that they can be selected from a dropdown, rather than manually typing them each dang time you set-up a new email account?
It would be nice to be able to fully export and import rules, color preferences, view settings, email font settings etc as part of one ginormous export (and import).
This would be handy when you're switching computers and need to fully import those settings.

This is badly needed!
It's a real PITA that when you login to a different device you have to work out how to turn off Focused Inbox, Pop out replies etc... etc...
And signatures need to roam too.
Why do I have to re-enter my signatures everytime I change device.
PS. The settings should also roam onto mobile Outlook where appropriate (sigs for example).

I'd like the application save all of my settings (options settings included) and share between devices.
So, when I install the outlook in other PC it will "self-set" automatically all of it.
this has been requested for years. it's basic. it's to be expected. not having this is creates an unnecessary burden. it's inexcusable for a company like Microsoft to omit this from a major product.

Add the ability to export (save) all my account settings.

If someone has Outlook 365, it would be good if Microsoft saved all of the users Settings, Preferences, Shortcuts, Quick Access Toolbar customizations, and Ribbon customizations were stored in the cloud, and easily transferrable from one of the user's computer's, to a different/new one.

When installing Outlook on a new machine which is logged in to a Microsoft account, it would be very helpful to be offered the chance to copy account settings from other Outlook installations. Other user information is copied across, why not email settings?
Quick Steps follows a O365 user from computer to computer. It would be great to have Quick Parts and Signatures do the same.
There needs to be an "Export everything" for all of MS Office. Either that or save all the settings on Onedrive, with a few earlier versions of settings.

Office 2016 H&B - no export-import button is operational (nor at the Options --> More options --> Export/import, neither at File --> Open and export
There needs to be an "export everything" option in outlook that backs up everything created by the user in Outlook: email accounts (server settings, etc.), emails, contacts, rules, display settings (font, column sizes, etc.). As a matter of fact, there should be a "one stop" export for all the office applications.
The idea here would be that if Office needs to be reinstalled for whatever reason (for example, if Windows needed to be re-installed from scratch or someone wanted to switch from Office 32-bit to 64-bit or vice versa) everything could be imported back and it would be like it was never uninstalled in the first place.
I have nine email accounts in Outlook (and three more I haven't added back yet) and backing all that up manually (including needing to backup registry keys and files scattered all over Windows) is an incredibly time consuming process and always ends up being hit or miss. Yes, I realize there is third party software that does this, but they too are hit or miss.
Why this hasn't already been made a feature some time in the past 20 years absolutely astonishes me. The lack of this feature is a HUGE elephant sitting right in the middle of the Office team's room.
When I add a new computer to my office 365 subscription, I would like the option to automatically configure the new machine with all of the accounts and settings of outlook on an existing office 365 machine. I often have multiple non-exchange email accounts and highly configured shortcuts. Many users have sever machines they work for: office desktop, laptop, etc. Syncing outlook accounts and settings across these machines would be a very desirable feature for me.
ok i know what to do thank you
