Quick delete button and Flag status are too close together
Quick Delete button and Flag Status button are really close together, please make an option to remove the Quick Delete button. The position of the buttons results in accidentally deleting a message. Also the popup and discard button are too close and it makes it easy to press the wrong button and loose the entire response.
Gotta admit, this is one of the worse design flaws I've seen for a long time. Please fix soonest
Then kick the *** of the moron that programmed it !
They're too close together and you can't move them - I delete more often that I want to.
In fact, the option to remove either or both of the built-in flag and delete buttons would be useful. I'm happy to right-click for those options in order to regain the readable real estate on the row.

It has taken me a long time to realize some of the really important emails being flagged for follow-up are instead deleted by this hidden trash icon right next to it. This is a really poor design. Interactive columns should not be next to the trash.

M.S. please take up immediately :
01. Remove the Delete column. There is a delete button in the drop down "Home" ribbon for this purpose !!
02. Allow Access and/or enable delete column to be modified / moved elsewhere in view settings.
03. Enable Flag column to be moved elsewhere in view settings.
Any of above to alleviate everyone's issue with falsely deleting messages that users want to FLAG as important.
Seems from messages I've seen this has gone on far too long. Does M.S. really want customers to go elsewhere for better email services.

Hey everyone, here is a fix for this, you need to turn the Touch Mode on : https://www.slipstick.com/outlook/outlook-touch-screen-mode/
Suggest to have the flag icon and the trash-can be further apart. very often, click on trash instead of flagging the email and the mail disappear. Else can a pop-up confirmation if to continue with Trash?

You've got to be kidding me. The "mark as important" and "delete" buttons are next to each other and can't be separated? This kind of ****** design is our punishment as a society for allowing innovation-stifling monopolies to exist. Dear everyone who works for Microsoft: your time will come.
Fix it you jerks
plz do, had to go through Trash to find an important email, because I deleted instead of Flagging it!!!

Can this "quick delete" button be deleted? (or at least hide / move away from the "Flag" button.

Why can't i move the flag column to any position? Why would i want it always at the very end of my 27" monitor?
PLEASE remove the delete button....this has caused SO many problems!
Reposition the flag away from trash can. I often hit the can when I want to flag.

Remove the delete button, please. IT IS USELESS !!!!!!
On the O356 web app go to Settings and scroll to the bottom -> click View All Outlook Settings -> Mail -> Customize Actions. Here you can toggle on and off all the Quick Actions
To stop getting the mails deleted accidently, please remove delete icon which is next to flag and reminder icons.
i have this issue on office365 outlook web as well. i accidentally delete messages every day. please change the UI.

It's mind boggling that this hasn't been fixed yet. The delete button serves to purpose beyond frustrating people who are flagging their messages. We have a button on our keyboards for deleting things, or can right click/delete as per how we've been conditioned for years. This is one of the worst UI decisions in the history of Microsoft yet they've never fixed it.

It's bad enough already having a Delete button next to End button in Microsoft keyboards. Can you please remove this Quick Delete button when you mouse hover emails?
