Pin or Stick important emails at the top of your Inbox
Option to be able to pin or stick important emails at the top of your inbox regardless of the date and time they were received when sorted by date. Also consider this scenario: Option to be able to pin someone automatically when we reply or send new mail.
We PIN all the “must” people in the CC so it will save our time in putting all the people in the CC every time we send mail. Plus, since there are a lot of “must” people to be filled out in CC, there may be some mistake to not include some people. We would like to avoid such problem.
Hi everyone. We are working to bring Pin to Outlook for Windows. Pin is now available in the Insider ring (formerly Insider Fast) for folks willing to give it a try. – David from the product team.

Yes please! I use this a lot on office365 but would like to see it on the outlook app, as this has features that o365 does not

I really enjoy using Outlook for Desktop but we need immediately this feature. Pin an e-mail to the top of screen is a tool I've been using everyday in Outlook Web, and I discovered I can't work without it anymore.
Be able to post an email at the top of the mailing list for immediate follow-up

Please add the ability to pin an email to the top of the folder (Outlook for Desktop). I've wanted this feature for years. Just getting around to requesting it now and discovered this 4-year-old thread with 2301 votes.
This use to be a feature in the old Outlook for Posts (they even have the pin in the icon). Don't understand at all why it was taken away.
I would like the ability to pin emails or posts so that they will always appear at the top of what ever folder they are in. Muc heasier to keep track of important emails. I use posts this way to keep track of crucial information about the topic so I don't have to search for it.
Pin an email to top
It would be great to be able to pin individual emails to the top of email folders to keep track of them.
I completed the form (posted A YEAR AGO!) to help microsoft see how I would use the pin option.
In reading the form it looked as though the option to pin emails was already enabled, but it isn't in the desktop version. How is this so difficult for them to understand?? we would like it in the desktop version please.
Not everyone works from outside of an office, and It isn't even enabled on my android version either so either way to suggest that it is available is ridiculous.
Please add this to the desktop version of OUtlook (and I DON'T mean the web version - the actual desktop version that normal people use).
Populating Task list from pinned emails.

Outlook office has a tool to pin emails to the top. This tool could be added to the Outlook app. The pinned emails could be accessible in a tab similar to the Focused and Other tabs.
1) Instead of just "Red Flagging" an important email we should be able to colour the entire box.
2) It would be nice to be able to select emails to be locked at the topof your message list.
I don't understand how this option is available in Outlook Online, but not on the desktop version.
Having options like Outlook 365 browser interface, to put the e-mails on priority which are pinned. This will display directly email that needs to be addressed on same day or next day

It's pretty much how I keep track of what projects I'm working on. Pinning the kick-off or request intake email to the top of my inbox, and then unpinning when I'm finished, is a super easy way to keep track of the projects without having to use multiple apps.

Be able to pin a window on top of others (I.E. Emailing someone with possible times in minimized window, have maximized window behind it showing calendar. Would like to change the dates viewing and Outlook feature would keep window on top so it would not minimize)
I would like to use it on Posts (and possibly also on emails).
I use Posts for reference-information pertaining to a given folder, and would like to keep such (very few) posts at the top of the folder always. I have tried to "code" the functionality using user-defined fields, but do not find any good solution.

An option to pin emails to the top of your inbox. Funnily enough my Outlook inbox on my phone has this, but not the desktop version. The closest my desktop version seems to have of this is the flag, but this doesn't work as well for me.
The Desktop version does not allow this, whereas Outlook Online does as well as Office.com Beta on mobile.

When I have multiple mails window opened, and sometimes outlook causes issues like half screen will be hidden/ slowness issue , so we need to exit the outlook, but I didn't finish reading the opened mail windows (3 or 4 mails windows) and don't want to search and reopen it again from the bunch of emails. If we have the Pin option in the outlook opened mail windows, that would be very helpful and time-saving.
