Pin or Stick important emails at the top of your Inbox
Option to be able to pin or stick important emails at the top of your inbox regardless of the date and time they were received when sorted by date. Also consider this scenario: Option to be able to pin someone automatically when we reply or send new mail.
We PIN all the “must” people in the CC so it will save our time in putting all the people in the CC every time we send mail. Plus, since there are a lot of “must” people to be filled out in CC, there may be some mistake to not include some people. We would like to avoid such problem.

Hi everyone. We are working to bring Pin to Outlook for Windows. Pin is now available in the Insider ring (formerly Insider Fast) for folks willing to give it a try. – David from the product team.

Pin emails, please! I would like, bordering on need, to pin in the Outlook desktop application. It drives me crazy that I have to search for the emails that are pinned in the web app but can't be pinned in the much more robust desktop application. We need Pin!

Have just moved from the Web outlook version to the desktop. It is just very inconvenient that I am not able to quickly pin the particular message without making additional "magic" like categories or creating a folders.
PLEASE, ADD THIS FEATURE TO THE DESKTOP VERSION!

Pinning emails on the Outlook.com interface is extremely useful. Please add this capability to the desktop version as well.

Pinning emails is very helpful and is available on the Outlook web version. Why isn't it available on the desktop app, too? Please add this functionality!

What happened to this feature. I was able to do this in Outlook on my home computer, and a few months ago it disappeared. I can find the "pinned" emails in the applicable folder, (how it knew which folder to put it in is a mystery to me) but they are gone from the top of my "Focused" email inbox, which is by date. I would like this feature back!

here is one idea. you can add the field "Sensitivity" to your Inboxview. you can click the tracking dialog box to change "Sensitivity for an individual email.
then click on the column heading to sort by Sensitivity by "Descending" order, and voila... your emails will remain at the top of the folder.
I hope that is helpful. thanks!

I'm currently using a separate folder that doesn't archive to keep emails I need to reference frequently, but it would be so much easier if I could just pin them to the top of my inbox.

Yes please. Agree with all previous comments. The ability to pin emails would be most useful for the desktop version, as it is for the mobile one.

PLEASE ADD THIS OPTION...I work fanatically to try to keep my email inbox from overflowing, but it often does as the day wears on...PINNING an email to the top when it is a topic I must continually refer to or address until complete would be SO HELPFUL!!!!

The 'pin' function is great for checking emails when I am working from home or on my mobile but as soon as I get into work and use the desktop version all my pins are gone.
Please just add it to the desktop version, our company relies on the desktop version and its functionality. Add the pin function to the desktop.

It seems the "pin" functionality is no longer available in the online version. The Desktop version is absolute garbage... stop updating it, and put all your development efforts into making Outlook online better.

Please add this feature to the desktop version of Outlook. It is frustrating that I can do somethings on the web version but not on the desktop and visa versa.

Madness that we cannot do this in the desktop program
