Pin or Stick important emails at the top of your Inbox
Option to be able to pin or stick important emails at the top of your inbox regardless of the date and time they were received when sorted by date. Also consider this scenario: Option to be able to pin someone automatically when we reply or send new mail.
We PIN all the “must” people in the CC so it will save our time in putting all the people in the CC every time we send mail. Plus, since there are a lot of “must” people to be filled out in CC, there may be some mistake to not include some people. We would like to avoid such problem.

Hi everyone. We are working to bring Pin to Outlook for Windows. Pin is now available in the Insider ring (formerly Insider Fast) for folks willing to give it a try. – David from the product team.

seems to be fixed in version 2102 build 13704.20000; although not mentioned in the release notes.

Any status on this being broken in the beta version after last updates?

Same issue with pinned emails, functionality missing from beta (2101) - missing emails still pinned within OWA

The "Pin" option is no longer available in the beta version after the last Office updates (December 2020). I even completely uninstalled and reinstalled the beta office version. Thanks...

This will be fantastic for clients that can't tell the difference between the online version and the desktop version and keep reporting the pin feature as broken

It would be useful to be able to pin certain emails to the top of your inbox so you can find it immediately. For example, I received an invite to a future training via a non-Microsoft platform. The log-in credentials are in the email but I don't want to have to search for the email when the training starts.

It would also be helpful if you could also pin conversations to the top of the Inbox.

Could you please add a feature to pin selected emails, so they would be displayed at the top of the folder above the rest?

I'd like to be able to highlight and pin important messaged for follow-up in the Desktop application like you can in the Web version of Outlook. It would be great if this could be done for both sent messages and messages in your inbox. This helps me find messages way easier without the hassle of using the messy Task Bar (I hate that BTW)

I think I've found a way to pin emails. Flag the emails you want pinned but use "No Date" when flagging. Now use the filter to sort by "All Mail", and under "Arrange by" click "Flag Status". Your no-date flagged emails will now be at the top and all other emails (unflagged) below by date. To make it easier, add a no-date flag to your quick access toolbar.

Just to add to my earlier comment - on build 13415.20002 (Beta Channel) using Microsoft 365 Home desktop: I can set "Pin" as a Quick Action but the Pin icon doesn't show when hovering over an email; I can add the Pin icon to my Quick Access Toolbar but the Pin is inactive. So, although it is in the build it cannot be activated, meaning it doesn't work on 365 Home. We live in hope.

I'm on the Beta Channel, build 13415.20002, and not available. Using Microsoft 365 Home, and its seems the pin feature is only available through an Outlook client/exchange online account - i.e. only on business accounts, not home accounts. Sucks.

I don't see it in my Outlook for Desktop Build 13408.2000 Beta channel. Should it not be there? I'm using Outlook with IMAP accounts. Does that matter as to why I do not see it?

To have the option to "Pin" an email. For example, an email that I need to address say, within a 24 hour period. I want to be able to pin it so it always shows at top of Inbox or directly under email navigation tabs - so that it is always showing no matter where I navigate to in Outlook. It would stay there until I "unpin" myself.
I know I can mark w/ "Follow-Up" and flag it but then always ends up getting buried in my Inbox due to volume of emails/correspondence I have throughout the day. With being able to pin, it is a constant visual so it's easier to acknowledge and take care of. It's a mind visual thing for me but I am sure others can relate and it would be very helpful.
Thanks!

Having the ability to pin messages to the top has been very valuable on Outlook.com. It should also be available via the app. There are features in the Outlook app (group by categories) which along with the ability to pin messages to the top would really be beneficial. Thank You.
