Please make it possible to synchronize Gmail contacts and calendar
Please make it possible to synchronize Gmail contacts and calendar without 3rd party apps.
Also, It should let you synchronize the google calendar and the contacts, but store it in the Gmail account not locally.
Sincronizar calendarios de Outlook y Google
Synchronize Outlook and Google calendars
It would be great to be able to export or synchronize some appointments from the outlook calendar to the google calendar

Sincronizar Contatos, Calendários e Tarefas com emails Gmail e Smartphone
Sync Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks with Gmail and Smartphone emails
It just doesn't make sense that we can sync different accounts and can't do the same with other email functions.

Ability to synchronize GMAIL account contacts directly to Outlook?
Have a tool that allows you to synchronize, as easily as it does for messages, the list of contacts in the Gmail account.

I use a Gmail account on my Android smartphone, and this same Gmail address is the one I use on my laptop through Outlook, which is simply the best for profesional purposes.
I need to have syncronization with contacts and calendars, but unluckily this is not posible.
I send this message to support that this is solved asap
I had this working perfectly on my Mac, but switched to Windows...how odd that this feature exists in Office for OSX, but not Windows. It boggles the mind why this would be the case. When can we expect Google Cal to be supported?

Should be simple. I export to .csv file my contacts in Google, and should be able to simply import to MS Outlook, but it is like pulling hens' teeth. It does not work. First you have to change to UTF code, and then first names are dropped so you have to go through hundreds of contacts to remember everyone.

I think Outlook should have a way for me to login with my Gmail and sync it to Outlook. I am a student and for some reason admin denies access to Gmail. I need to get to my emails because its very important for me to know if there is any updates in school grades, assignments..ect. It would be greatly appreciated if you took my idea into consideration.
sync outlook contacts with contacts on a Samsung smart phone, such as using gmail contacts and outlook together for both devices, so that all of the millions of Samsung users can syn with their PC's using office.
I have just become self-employed and so bought a new laptop and subscribed to the full office suite. All my working life I have used Outlook and have been very happy with it, so now to find I cannot add my boss's google calendar and contacts to my outlook is so frustrating. If I had know this problem I would have just bought the iPad pro which is compatible with google.
What about making it possible to use Calendars 5 by Readdle??? Apple and Google both have the apps.

Per the following announcement, this feature has been available to Outlook for Mac users since March 2017. Amazing. What about Outlook for Windows users? Shouldn't all new features come to Outlook for Windows first?
This doesn't make any sense to me. Anyway, could you please let us know if this is ever going to be available to Outlook for Windows? If so, when? Any ETA? We need this for yesterday, please!
At the title describes. I'm not the first to ask for this either. It is really absurd that all my google calendar info is omitted entirely from Outlook. RUBBISH!

This is the last features that makes me hesitating to use Outlook everyday.. it work perfectly on the native calendar app in WIN10 but not in the Office/Outlook one. It is really sad that it is not implemented since many years now (even if it could be a Microsoft exchange challenger).
if this commentary is read, thank you to take that into account.

CardDAV & CalDAV are internet standards, come on Microsoft. Don't make me use some janky plugin or third party app to make this work. This should have been native in the first iteration of Office for Mac. Now is the time to fix it!
Jeez, it's only been a decade or so....

We need full Google Calendar integration. Our organisation uses G-Suite but I personally use Office as much as possible.
To help me increase efficiency I need better Google calendar integration. Currently I have the google cal open in a browser whilst working. I would like full functionality via Outlook desktop and mobile.
AGREED … and … PLEASE SIMPLIFY OUT-OF-THE-BOX SETUP PROCESS!!!
Outlook provides more features than Google apps, plus allows access to legacy Outlook email/calendar/contacts, BUT ... each access point is a completely independent app (Outlook for pc, online, mobile). I spent days setting up Outlook (on pc, online, mobile), working with MS support, testing, etc. (then repeating) trying to setup Outlook on my pc, online, and mobile, so that regardless of which Outlook access point I used, I was viewing/adding/editing the same email, calendar, contacts (PS - also only semi-succeeded with setup to ensure people I send calendar invites too, actually receive them, can accept them, saw and can respond to same “from” email). Per this feedback stream, its only possible to sync gmail, but even if you use Hotmail calendar (and overlay view G-cal), Outlook does not let you set “From” email, and in fact auto sets it to an @outlook.com email (even for Hotmail calendar)
In comparison, Google email/calendar/contacts have less functionality, but THEY ARE CRAZY EASY TO USE, and are synchronized regardless of where the user access them.
MS, please do not underestimate the current negative user feelings. Right now, using Outlook is solidifying my NEED and desire to switch 100% to Google apps - only reason I have not yet done so, is so I can access legacy Outlook content
