Please make it possible to resize images when attaching to an email and ability to resize inbound email image attachments
Please make it possible to resize images when attaching to an email.
Also, we receive a great deal of customer inbound images and it would be nice if I could reduce the size (mb/pixels) of image attachments. I don’t need the images to be 12mb when 46kb will give me enough of a picture.
Want to be able to attach multiple large images to over the server limit, and and then have Outlook resize the images to server limit size on sending.
Current design has us sending many emails with one file attached and then resized - very frustrating!
This is extremely valuable. We can get this capability from my cell phone. I am thinking in leaving Outlook in search for this capability.

Provide a GPO group policy object to set the default "Resize Images when I send this message" vs "Do not resize images."

It would be really useful to always have outlook either resize picture attachments or better still ask when the picture above a custom threshold if we want to resize before sending. Just some more options regarding how to deal with large image attachments would be awesome. Having to manually remember to change the setting each time seems counterintuitive.
When I paste an image into gmail it defaults to a "best fit" that is always a reasonable size with options to manually resize or choose from some big/small presets.
In outlook i ALWAYS have to make my giant picture a reasonable size not only for my recipient but even more me so I can craft the email in a sensible way.
Since Microsoft has changed the rendering engine to Word 2007 with Office 2007 and later.
This word 2007 engine has 18 inch height limit (1728 pixel) for the height of images displayed in an email. If an image is larger than 1728 pixels high, Outlook tends to clip the extra pixels from the top-down, or in some cases remove the image completely.
Is it possible for Microsoft to increase such limit in the future, because such limitation does not catch up the trend that resolution of images is getting higher and higher nowadays.
When you want to attach an another e-mail message, and you need to click "Insert item/Outlook Item", you can`t change the window "Insert iten" size. It`s painfull to find an e-mail message there.
This window should be bigger or with possibility to increase it size.
I am very sad, that after all previous versions, also Outlook 2016 did not fix the dialogue window:
Attach Item > Outlook item , which is very small and even does not allow size adjustments. It is very unconvenient to search for a message, which I want to attach, in such a small window, adding some search would be great as well...

Please make it possible to set "Resize large images when I send this message." as the default for our company's email. There is a serious need for this option to be able to be set as the default. Any chance of this??
Every time I paste a screenshot or a larger image into an Outlook email I have to scale/size it to fit within the email.
I have to do this around 20 times a day and it drives me nuts!
Please either size the image to the width of the email pane, or to ~7" max width (I should be able to increase width if I want).
I understand that you want me to use cloud and no worries, We have I cloud and Google Drive available in our project .
There is a way by using ZipMail for Outlook. Here when attaching an image you can crop it, resize the dimension you want, rotate, and so on. The same when pasting a screenshot.
These plus many other nice behaviours for attachments, including reducing size of Office documents without breaking them.

When reading email, it should be possible to load images and then flag the email while still reading it.
What it is doing now is telling the user that another user ("another" being incorrect) has changed the item. The user must load the images, close the item, wait a while (because doing the next step right away does not work), and then flag the item. This makes the operation take about ten times as long as it should. Thanks.
This misbehavior has persisted across versions and on multiple systems. It does not appear to be configuration dependent.
Make image resize option available every time please
Please bring back the ability to resize photos when sending.
I'm not sure everyone is talking about the same problem. A couple versions back I could resize photos when sending, but in the last version I could not. The result is that I could only attach a couple photos per email and had to send multiple emails, or send photos on thumb drive via FedEx. Not efficient or user friendly. Please bring back the ability to resize photos when sending.
View a list of all attachments at once - either resize the pane that shows attachments or give an option to view all attachments list
