outlook configuration sync across machines
Using Office 365 and desktop Outlook, sync the configuration of Outlook for any machine I run it on. Carry through Office 365 my Outlook settings for appearance (message header display, etc.) and client-side rules and folder expire policies. Also add calendar color sync function across devices and for all the protocols. Also t would be great to have a feature where Calendars could synchronized without having to send event invites to different Outlook accounts.
my Outlook emails are configured as an IMAP application.
Why are only emails, but not contacts, calendars and tasks synchronized.
Entering all this manually is, sorry, a complete disaster ...
That is an aberration!
Do you have an idea of how long it takes to enter it all manually.
I can't sync Outlook with Outlook.
This is a NO-GO!
Please allow synchronization between all Outlook versions in the future.
This is not worthy of Microsoft!
As long as it's smart enough to differentiate settings for different screen resolutions and local settings that should only be applied to laptops or desktops.
I had Windows 7 that came with Windows Live Mail, I exported email accounts and all emails in .eml format, with the purpose of installing Windows 10 and Office 365. When installing Outlook I was surprised that it doesn't even matter. accounts and not .eml extensions, only .pst
I suggest this software have this option.
I lost 20 years of work email history with this. I am now looking for a reliable converter from .eml to .pst

please allow sync of diary and address book ... it is a nightmare keeping these up to date otherwise. We are on the go all the time, this is a basic technology requirement.
Three years and its not been addressed? This is crazy!
Outlook client for Windows, Outlook 365, Outlook Live, Outlook for ios and they don't all sync?
They should sync People seamlessly- everywhere there's a class or business meeting, its all about "relationship building" and Outlook can't even get people's names situated across the Outlook brand? What an utter fail.

I would like to be able to sync my Outlook calendar on PC with my iPhone calendar, NOT using the Cloud. Using the Cloud means our whole family gets my calendar items on their phones and no one wants that. Would like to see it sync with imap/pop accounts as well.

Make the category colorization behavior consistent. It should sync across different Outlook application platforms (e.g. OWA, Windows, macOS, iOS, etc.), and application states (e.g. Online Mode, Cached Exchange Mode).
Please allow sync of calendar and contacts with imap - its a basic, essential feature.

Microsoft please enable the sync of Office 365 Pro Plus settings

Yes!! Being able to change Office 365 options based on account/profile vs a single computer would be ideal. Especially in a business setting where users have multiple devices!

This is just an ESSENTIAL feature.
I use Outlook on more than one Windows desktop and laptop and on an Android phone. What good are all the many settings options for personalizing categories/colors, viewing, action steps, etc. if I have to recreate them on every computer or device I use?
It's completely disorienting to go from one computer to another (or even just the Outlook app on a single computer to the web-based interface using Office 365) and find that none of these choices carried over.
It takes real time to set these things up! Even if one decided to spend their time manually recreating all of their settings on each device, any change would have to be made on each device going forward.
Why don't the settings just carry over like web browser settings do?

So me and my business partner are both using the Outlook Calendar. The problem is that we have to send invites to each other whenever one of us adds a calendar event.
It would be great to have a feature where our calendars could sync without having to send event invites.
Hope this makes sense.
I can't utilize outlook calendar on my phone and computer, with my account being imap it only allows local access to calendar.
Custom menus should sync. Now I have to export from one PC and import to another.
Outlook 365 syncing ALL mail folders and also Calendar across ALL devices would be wonderful. this is what I and many others expected when we made the decision to purchase and use Outlook 365. When will this functionality become available?
This is an idea long overdue, something that ordinary Outlook users really need.
There needs to be an "Export everything" for all of MS Office. Export settings, views, spelling dictionaries, MRUs, everything.

I would like to make one entry to the calendar on my computer and using outlook on my phone I should be able to see that entry. Currently on the phone tells me calendar is not supported. It is outlook shouldn't matter what device as long as I am the one logged in. I should not have to sync either.
One example of the expectations I have of a synced account:
Those marked as Safe Sender on one device should automatically show up as a Safe Sending on any device I am using with my account.

It would be great if Outlook sync'd my QuickSteps across multiple devices so that I only have to set or update it once.
I'd like you to fix Office 365's incompatibility with Outlook sync so that Samsung Galaxy S7 Smartswitch syncs again, as it did before I 'upgraded' to 365.
