    Provide an option to assign colors for incoming emails in Microsoft Outlook 2016 for easy identification. Designate my supervisors emails writing in Red as an example. Just being able to assign a font color to a person for incoming mail so they pop out at you. Especially when you receive hundreds of emails a day. I would rather have that then the little color boxes.

  3. Show the weekday in meeting invitations

    When receiving a meeting invite, the time, date, month and year is shown. But the weekday is not. And there doesn't seem to be a way to easily see this (hovering over the date, or changing a view setting) without opening a calendar. It would be good for the meeting invite to show which day of the week the invite is for, or allow you to 'hover' over the date to show the day.

  4. Need option for disabling "Other Suggestions" for email addresses

    I like to have autocomplete but hate the "Other Suggestions". I am unable to find a way to disable that. It is VERY counterproductive, especially for emails that are no longer valid and I don't get option to remove it

  5. Provide Calendar categories in Outlook App on Android

    I need on my Smartphone the same Categories like on desktop computer. The Categories should be synchronized on the Smartphone as well.

  8. Default duration for new appointments and meetings set to <var> minutes.

    In Outlook for Windows: File-> Options-> Calendar. In Calendar options there is "Default duration for new appointments and meetings" value that could be set to 30 min, 1 hour, 1,5 hour and 2 hour.

    An organisation have a need to decide themselves the duration of the new meeting by default. F.ex. 15, 45 (academic hours) or 50 minutes.

    Create an option for skipping weekends for reoccuring meetings. Include a follow up option to move the item to the day before or after. For instance, when a fixed due date (e.g. credit card bill) or a birthday falls on a weekend it either needs to be manually moved each month/year it falls on a non business day, or it risks being missed (or popping up as a reminder after the fact).

  11. Automatically Minimize To Tray On Launch

    There should have the option to automatically minimize to tray on launch for Outlook. Most applications have this feature. I feel it is a security risk and also highly disruptive that Outlook pops up on screen whenever it updates while I'm in the middle of coding or trying to have a discussion with a coworker.

    I love how the Black theme darkens the reading pane with white text on a dark background. I would like this option implemented in the Dark Gray theme as well.

  15. Provide a feature in Outlook to Silently Retract or Recall Messages

    Outlook Cannot Silently Retract Messages. Outlook can retract (called Message Recall in Outlook), but whether successful or not, the recipient knows that the attempt was made (and the attempt includes the subject line).

  16. Ability to print multiple calendars (such as personal and public calendars) using the Print Options feature. Save paper and more efficient.

    Ability to print multiple calendars (such as personal and public calendars) using the Print Options feature in order to print all relevant calendars on a single page rather than a separate print out for each calendar. This allows each user to fine tune their print calendar print outs to include both the Public calendar entries plus their own personal calendar entries. This feature will be more efficient and prevent missed appointments due to incorrect allocation of appointments to wrong calendars. This will be environmentally friendly with less paper use.

  17. Like or Thumbs Up message

    To reduce the number of emails churning with thank yous etc, adding a button that can show/capture that the message has been read/liked/or thumbs up, where all recipients can see the status, (ie all recipients have read the email, and liked it). This will reduce the number of 'Thanks' reply all emails we all receive. Also reflects the social media style 'confirmation' of messages, and the same in Teams where you can thumbs up a message.

  18. Under 'Contact Attendees' of a meeting, add the option 'Email attendees who did not answer'.

    Outlook offers the option to send an email to all attendees of a meeting. It would be great to have the possibility to send an email only to attendees who have declined, or to those who have not yet answered. This would avoid unnecessary reminders to those who have already answered.

  20. Have option to revert meeting "Title" field to its old area when creating new meeting.

    Since the latest update new email and new meeting are not consistent as to where we write the Title or Subject. It would be better to have the field in the same area as it was before.
