  2. Increase/large the size of additional window.

When I open additional windows in Outlook, like calendar, it always open small in size, cannot see anything, it is useless. User always have to enlarge or maximize this window. Please provide way to open always maximized or large enough to be useful. Thank You.

  3. Bring back the contact bar at the bottom of the Contact, Calendar, Task and Journal screens.

Outlook 2010 had a contact bar at the bottom of the Contact, Calendar, Task and Journal screens which allowed linking contacts to these screens. For a Contact you could link an assistant, for Calendar entries link individuals involved, etc. That capability was removed in Outlook 2013 - but it could be added through a Registry edit. It was totally removed in Outlook 2016 & 2019 and a registry edit is not an option. It was a capability I relied on to associate contacts with other records. Please provide the ability to add it back if only through a Registry edit.

  4. Dark Gray Theme Unread Messages Count not Visible enough in Folder Pane

When using the Dark Gray Theme in Outlook, the Unread Messages Count in the left Folder Pane should be Blue (or other discernible color) like it is in the Black Office Theme. Currently, it blends into the folder names too easily.

  5. Separate categories pane in outlook 2016

Add a Categories Pane to Outlook. I'm a big user of categories and it would be great to allow for easily selecting and adding categories to Outlook items. The current process of right-clicking and then assigning 1-by-1 or selecting "All Categories" and then choosing multiple selections are both cumbersome (same thing when accessing from the ribbon). A pane would ease my current pain.

  8. Add a Archive button next to the Reply, Reply All and Forward above the contact when looking at an email.

This Archive button will be separate to the button in the ribbon and the optional Quick Access Toolbar one.

  9. Improving Outlook 2019 user interface (also applies to Outlook 2016)

Improving Outlook 2019 user interface (also applies to Outlook 2016):
    1. Please consider reducing the folder pane line spacing; it is too wide! Make it like Outlook 2007, so that we can see more folders on the screen and reduce the amount of scrolling with the mouse. Compare: the spacing between messages (without any lines for preview) in the message list is good, and I believe many people prefer this kind of compact spacing.
    2. Please consider using some kind of bullets to identify subfolders, like in Outlook 2007. The bullets will make it easier for the user to click…

  10. Add Option to open Cloud / Modern attachments in default app rather than web.

Outlook should have an option to open modern/cloud attachments directly in the Windows default program rather than opening it in a browser. This should work at a minimum for the standard Word, PowerPoint, and Excel file types. Obviously, this should also be an option for all Outlook apps since there are versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.

  13. Show Vault folders section in different colour

Option to make Vault Folder and sub-folders with separate background colour. Reason: it's too easy to be searching for a folder, or filing emails, into a Vault folder accidentally, while thinking you are in your main set of folders. A different background colour (or e.g. different font for names) would make clear that you are in the Vault. Thank you for considering.

  14. Provide an option of feature to track who accessed emails, made changes to emails and calendars in Microsoft Outlook 2016.

Provide an option of feature to track who accessed emails, made changes to emails and calendars in Microsoft Outlook 2016.

In a large business, with multiple administrators accessing email inboxes, it would be incredibly beneficial to have a way of being able to check for footprints of who has accessed an email and what they have done with it. For example, if a user was to archive an email, there could be a history icon that gives you an audit trail. This would help identify instances of users deleting, moving or archiving emails either mistakenly or deliberately without dealing with…

  15. Provide a feature to change the font/size in the email adress bar to read more easily the recipients in Outlook 2016

It would be great if there would be some settings that would allow Outlook users to modify the font size in the email address bar. This way the email address of the recipient could be read more easily

  16. Print option on email chains to print in date ascending order

Add an option to print an email chain in date ascending order. It would be great to print a long chain and follow it from beginning to end.

  18. Provide an ability to get polling in meeting invites? Would like to build consensus on items like agenda, meeting location or food choices.

Allow polling within a meeting invite (similar to email) on items like agenda, meeting location or food choices.

  19. Dock able Modules in Outlook 2016

There is a usability issue due to the fact that you can only see one list at a time in Outlook, (email, contacts, to-do, calendar, etc.) There's the ability to "pop out" an email message so that you can look at your calendar while composing a message, but that's kind of clunky. I propose a feature where you can pop out any of the list modules (such as calendar) so that one can easily work between the two.

Adobe does this in their pro software by being able to "dock" windows within the interface window or "float" them elsewhere, including…
