Provide an ability to navigate recent searches easily
A small arrow icon which will display my recent 10 searches will be of great help. A lot of times we search inbox with few keywords and mostly with numbers which are lengthy. Navigating through recent searches should make it easier to research and can save a lot of time.
Adding a small arrow or a Recent Searches icon just next to Search field can be easy to spot and immediate use.

mail group search include @
I have got more than 2000 person on contact list. So when I want to create an e-mail group, I can seacrh name. But the Outlook show the person e-mail and fax number. Example: An user had got e-mail and fax number. So Outlook show 2 record in person list for ad to group. So when i look at the list I can see 4000 more person. I think that I must be able to filter just e-mail adress

Fix bug that has blown out the search function in Outlook
After a recent update, I can no longer do a search in Outlook for recent emails. Microsoft support tried fixing but they are unable to fix this. Please fix this error as without being able to do a search, I am not able to handle my business emails. Extremely frustrating and apparently I am not the only one having this problem. first time in my computer history that I am considering moving to a MAC. This is really unacceptable.

the search results may be reported latest to oldest instead oldest to latest searches
when the number of messages are huge, it is taking too much time to search the old conversations. it is because the search in indexed items are taking place from older to newer messages. it would be ideal to provide newer messages appaear first in the search results

Search Multiple Random Words
It would be more efficient if we could search multiple random words to narrow down the search. I would LOVE to see this feature added!
Side note: I apologize if this suggestion is already out there. I searched this page multiple ways, but I did not find it. (The search feature on "this page" isn't very efficient either.) ;)

I NEED TO FIND A CONTACT IN MY COMPUTER BY SEARCHING A WORD OR NAME IN MY NOTES ON THAT CONTACT
Search doesn't find the most relevant information and shows emails that do not include the words searched for, this should be changed to allow ease of access.

search box in outlook 2016
When adding individual search boxes by subject, sent, folder, body, attachments, etc, these are added vertically in a column and end up taking a log of vertical screen space, and leaving a lot of unused screen space to their left. It would be preferable to optimize the use of screen space, and allow the user to move the individual search boxes around (up,down, left, right) afterwards, as needed.
Also, make the search box a little bit bigger.

Don't let Outlook get messed up by Windows update!
After updating Windows the search function in Outlook doesn't work anymore. I'm spending time searching online for a solution which I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO since I paid for this software and it required me to update.

Search Function doesn't work
When I search some words like "OT" on the outlook email, it shows all the email and the email including "OT"; it just highlight "OT".
For Example:
Email 1
Email 2 with OT
Email 3 with OT
Email 4
Email 5
Email 6 with OT
It shows all the email
Can the outlook just work simply: only shows the email includes those key words?
Like this:
Email 2 with OT
Email 3 with OT
Email 6 with OT

Do not show search suggestions ( history ) in Search field of Outlook 2016
I am using Outlook 2016. When I try to search my inbox for a message, once I click in the search box, Outlook "helpfully" gives me dropdown suggestions based on my last several inbox searches. This is completely unhelpful because very few people search same thing twice. Suggestion boxes are so obtrusive that I almost always click on one accidentally, which messes up the search I am actually trying to do. Please tell me that turning this off is an option! It's driving me crazy.

When I using the "Quick Search", putting quotes around the phrase should result in only those word in the order "inside the quotes"
When I search for "Outlook Ideas" in the quick search:
DESIRED BEHAVIOR: Results should only include emails where the phrase "Change Request" is found.
Example Desired Results:
1. Body: "Did you complete that CHANGE REQUEST I sent to you last week?"
2. Subject Line "Questions regarding CHANGE REQUEST 1234235"
3. Attachment contains: CHANGE REQUESTCURRENT UNDESIRED BEHAVIOR: Results include items where the word "Change" and "Request" both appear, but not necessarily sequentially or in that order. This is NOT optimal when "quotes" are used around the words.
Example UNDESIRABLE Results:
1. Subject: REQUEST to approve time off. Body "I hate…11 votes
