Restrict Services Availability To Certain Days Or Times
Just like we can assign availability for Staff, please allow us to assign availability for each of our Services. For example, there are certain Services that we only offer during certain times of day. At first, we thought that would just create a Staff member that was only "available" during that time of day. However, the problem is that our Staff member can also perform other services, so we want them available for all services. We really need Bookings to block or include availability on a Service level as well.

Need overlapping time slots for different length services.
I have two services. One for 4 hours (two slots per day) and one for 8 hours (one slot per day). I need to be able to set up hours as follows:
9-1
1:30 - 5:30
9 - 5So that if customer needs a full day service there is a slot showing IF nobody has booked one of the half-days.

Customise the Fields are shown in the calendar - Concatenate Service and Title & Location for example
Concatenate Fields so that you see more information at a glance rather than just the Service title being the only displayed field

Hide all Bookings email addresses from the GAL
Have the ability to chose whether you want the Bookings app to publish newly created Bookings email addresses to your GAL. Currently I was only able to do this via powershell for one email address. Having the ability to globally have this turned off would be nice.

No Auto Assign Staff
Do not automatically assign a staff when customer book an appointment when "Allow customers to choose a specific person for the booking" is unchecked.

I run coding courses for adults and children. A booking lasts 4 hours and the maximum number of attendees is 20. A system that can manage this would be brilliant.

Notify if auto-assigned or booker selected
We have multiple staff available to deliver services, but some customers prefer certain staff. When we receive a booking notification we need to know if the operator was auto-assigned or selected/preferred. This was we can have some freedom to reallocate if needed, without having to tell the reporter that their preferred resource is sick or otherwise unavailable unexpectedly. Thanks all.

Hi, we are in much need of an option to set an end date for reservations for a service.
we use bookings for our employees to schedule a replacement for their computers but we lack an option to specify an end date. As it is now our employees can schedule 3 months ahead indefinitely.

Equipment Rental
It would be a really handy feature if you could use bookings to reserve rental equipment based upon available inventory. I've started setting up our rental golf cars as Equipment Resources in Outlook and manually entering "meetings" using those resources, but to have customers able to request a "booking" themselves would be a huge time saver. Thanks!

Make "Select Staff" mandatory when booking a service
When setting up a service to allow a customer to select a staff member, make it so it's mandatory to select a staff member instead of defaulting to "Anyone."
Currently if they don't select staff and leave it as Anyone, it randomly selects a staff member. For what we are using this for it needs to go to a specific staff member instead of a random staff.203 votes -
Force client to choose a staff member.
New clients are failing to see that they need to choose a Staff member. As a result, the system seems to default to the first staff member listed. if there is only 1 staff member have system default to that person. If there are 2 or more staff members, force the client to choose a specific staff member. This is creating a lot of confusion.
