Add rooms as resource
We have some of our conference rooms that we make available to other non profits to use. We’d like to utilize bookings to facilitate this!! In order to do so we need to be able to add a resource as a person.

Our organisation also think this is required. A booking doesn't just need staff, it needs somewhere to take place, and often a resource. By adding a room / venue and resource it would make a vast improvement

We have multiple people who can be booked to the same room or elsewhere, and Bookings cannot currently check the availability of a room and a person simultaneously.

Being able to use MS bookings for booking rooms that are resources in Outlook would allow us to get rid of our 3rd party room bookings system that we have.

We are a large organisation that relies heavily on Teams due to Covid, We provide a lot of support for running Teams Live events. We want to make a booking system for our available Teams equipment, rooms and support staff. So it would be great to add rooms as a resource.

Being able to change the text "Select staff (optional)" on the booking page would be a good start.

This too is a feature that my organisation would like to use.
Being able to book resources would be a great feature.
Added to that if we were able to add capacity bookings, this would help us with allowing only 5 users in total to be able to book a room at a specific time. This logic would also work with equipment, capacity would be stock levels, -

Agree that it would be incredibly useful to book resources rather than just staff or at least have the ability to edit the list heading to what we need rather than it just being Staff. This would be a temporary fix whilst a proper fix of able to book resources is implemented.

We need to add equipment as resources as well! Same concept!

Or be able to attach bookings to rooms/venues. We have three people offering services across 3 rooms, but one of our services can only take place in one of the 3 rooms.

You need to also be able to list them in numerical order rather than the random listing it provides currently. We have room resources labelled as Desks, that are numbered... it would be great to be able to add a link to a map or pdf onto the top of the page also (perhaps another suggestion). Room and Desk bookings is going to explode in next six months as business gear up to ensure tracking of people is possible (luckily this system provides this...).

Not that this is the solution, but I did find that I could create room resources, then add them as "staff", so that you could essentially reserve a room using the Booking app. There are a couple issues, one of which is that there is no control over the sort order of the list, and the list header refers to "Staff" rather than "Room" or "Equipment" and it can't be changed.

this is what I'm trying to do too. It would be very helpful.

Agree, there are lots of scenarios where it would be helpful if rooms, facilities, equipment, or other resources could be reserved.
