Allow Resource Bookings rather than Staff
It would be useful if the booking could be customised so that customers could book resources instead of staff time
This would great feature. We have equipment that our staff can borrow. It would great if our staff could reserve device and after reserve they would get notification about it. It would also ideal if person would get reminder if the time for return is coming when person hasn't returned the device.
This would be super helpful. I love Bookings front-end and we'd like to use it to book out resources (shared high speed scanners, etc).
While we could do this with a resource calendar, I want the front end of Bookings, for ease of booking the service, particularly for nonusers of Exchange (also, for ease of adoption, it would be helpful to not require intervention of an Exchange admin.)
While we can fake this up; right now, it books out on a user calendar. that would be ok if it was 'free" on the user calendar, but "booked" on the resource calendar.

I have resources available for booking, but cannot find a way to print the room only with the customer details
This would be a really beneficial feature.
We are adapting for study rooms bookings. Would like to be able to customise the text on the booking page.

If your an exchange users could you not just have a resource calendar and have those listed as staff?
similar to already suggested, we have 4 pitches we need to book out, if we could assign a time slot to a pitch and we could easily see who has booked what pitch

I want to be able to rent a vacation appartment on a daily basis. This is currently not possible in a simple way, meaning a lot of business scenarios are unsupported if you imagine renting any kind of resources like hardware, housing, vehicles, bikes... the list is long and I strongly believe this feature has a lot of potential for Bookings and Office 365. Surely a feature request with very high priority.
You could technically do this. Create resource/location accounts, then treat them as members of the group.
