How can we improve Microsoft Bookings?

Provide more time increments for customers to book time with me

Bookings can only start on 15m, 30m and 60m increments right now. I'd like to have bookings start on 5m increments.

I’m happy to let you know that we recently completed work that gives you more control over bookable time increments in Bookings. More specifically, we made two changes – first, we added more pre-set time increments for you to choose from (from 5 mins to 4 hours with several choices in between), and second, we added a “Custom” control that lets you specify the bookable time increment for your customers. These features were widely requested by Bookings customers and, if they not both already available for you, they will soon be available to try in our Web app. Please note that these features are still in development for our iOS and Android apps and will ship in the coming months.

You can find the new controls that let you pick the needed booking increment in two places in the Web app. They appear on the “Booking page” page, next to the “Time increments” label, where they can be set globally for all services set up in Bookings, and they can be found in the “Scheduling policy” section on specific “Service details” pages accessed by either creating a new service or by editing a service from the list on the “Services” page in Bookings and then deselecting the “Use the default scheduling policy” option. This sets the bookable time increment at the specific service level, if that’s what you need. Please note that the “Custom” option, once it rolls-out to your account, is found at the bottom of the list of pre-set increments described above.

On your booking page (the page you share with your customers to make it easy for them to grab time with you) your customers will now be able to book you during the time increments you need.

Please give this new feature a try by changing the booking increments and making some test appointments to see how it works and to see what happens. We hope this meets your booking needs but if not please do not hesitate to let us know by clicking on one of the Feedback links you’ll find in the product. Thanks for your feedback and thanks for using Bookings.

This is already done. In one tenant i saw f.e. 45, 90 Min. Good Job! Thx.

    We hire out office boardrooms.

We need the client to be able to specify a time range (or number of hours required).

I just realised it doesn't currently allow this - otherwise would have been an ideal solution.

We currently make bookings over the phone, and use O365 resource calendars.

I agree with Eric that we should be able to set the increments ourselves.

This is a really important thing for me. It's bollixed me up already a few times. In my work, I actually need :10 and :20 minute blocks frequently. (I have same issue with FindTime.)

It seems odd that there is a limit on this. We should be able to set the time and go.

Also for my services I need them to span days or even weeks so the time is blocked out for that employee
