Add more categories options
Add more spots to categorize---like have more colors available. Like I may have 10 different types of events I want to color code in my calendar

Why not provide the "categorisation" option for outlook mobile? It was in OWA.

Being able to assign meaning to the category colors would be helpful.

Allow bookings to be assigned a Category. These categories can be customised by the user and assigned different colors to enable at a glance assessment of the calendar.
In the desktop version, you have the ability to color code groups, make new message stand out more, etc. In the online version, I can't seem to do the same thing and it is very hard to determine or clearly see what is an unread message and what is net new much less within different categories.
I would love to see the ability to create these view-able differences.

Add more indication of the current day on the calendar than the simple little bar at the top of the date on the calendar.
Or add the capability to make it stand out more.

Working with categories:
- It would be great if when I assign a category to a RSVP that the calendar item then is also assigned to that category
- Furthermore it would be great if the assigned categories could be also attached to sent items and if an item has no category yet a dialog asks for categories on outgoing items
Background: I work extensively with category since years now and don't use any folders anymore. On my desktop Outlook I was able to navigate around the downsides with some fancy macros but the webinterface of O365 is lacking that support :)
Definitely need the Calendar View (and probably all other views) to be filterable by Categories. Microsoft did all this work to make us use Categories (rather than different Calendars like other providers) but then doesn't allow us to filter by them??!!

I missed a quiz last night. I have five online classes and it is much to keep straight.
This morning, there was a new bold RED note under the description that the assignment is OVERDUE. Additionally, there is a RED note on the Overview tab in Content that informs me the test is overdue, but there is nothing I can do about it. It is closed, locked, unaccessible.
Would you consider making such efforts to inform students of UPCOMING due dates? Post in RED, DUE TOMORROW. making such an effort to inform me I have "missed the deadline and I'm out of luck" doesn't help students. Making an effort to inform students a day before something is due can help students.
Our store would like to use your calendar to share our scheduled appointments with each other. It is crucial that we do that. In addition to sharing the scheduled appointments, we color code each of the different types of appointments, which is also crucial. So far, each of us can "categorize" each of our appointments and share them with on our common calendar. Unfortunately, in stead of our appointments showing up color coded for our associates, they come up the color of that calendar's designation. So everything Susan puts on the "Boca" calendar ends up the color designated for the "Boca" calendar instead of the color designated for that type of appointment. Why? We have to fix this....

I would love to be able to choose my own custom colors for calendars. Right now you have a default of 9 bright, or 9 dark. But you cannot mix and match. Please have a list of curated colors, as well as the option to choose your own color through a color picker. This would be great!

When I am looking at my calendar 'at a glance' for a month, I would like to have the days that I have things scheduled highlighted somehow, with the ability to color code. I schedule meetings in advance and I would like to know when planning other events when things have already been planned.
Hope this makes sense to you...

Please allow us to categorize a calendar item upon creation instead of after. I live by color coding and this feature is super helpful but could be streamlined.
MUST HAVE : sorting by all categories. This was available in the previous Outlook and now is impossible. You can only search by one category at a time instead of organizing each category in the mailbox. This is VERY inconvenient and slows productivity!

More colours! Allow darker colours customisation features!

In Outlook, let me filter on a color! I am able to assign a color to a recipient, but there is no option to filter on it.
It would be helpful it Office 365 Outlook had the same features as the Outlook app. For example, we have a shared calendar to check out technology. We have organized this with categories, color coding each cart and room.

I would love to see more options for calendar colors. Right now, there are only 9.
When an event is entered on the calendar, it should change colour so that at a glance one knows there is something on that day.

i need a separte calendar to have certain categories associated with them. for instance, i have a health calendar and i want the categories: dentist, workout, eye dr., etc.
and i have a family calendar to have kids names: gavin, catie, mom, etc.
but when i add a calendar all the categories are inherited and i don't want to see health categories in the family calendar. etc
is this possible.
