Allow right click to open email in a new tab
Allow users to open an email in a new tab so you can keep looking through your inbox. For me I often have say 20% of my emails I want to read so the easiest way to start is to open each of those ones I want to read in a new tab and then close each tab after I've taken action. This would also help because sometimes I need to cross reference between emails and having one open in each tab would help without having to leave the email I'm composing or save it in drafts.
I would like to be able to open my inbox in a new tab, while I am busy reading an open e-mail (I don't use a preview screen). It often happens that, while I'm reading an e-mail, I need to go find another one, and the only way to create tabs is to first exit the e-mail I'm busy reading, then open it in a tab, then go back to the inbox tab and find the other e-mail to open in a separate tab.
I would like to make this process quicker, by being able to open the inbox in a tab just by right-clicking on it.

I'm using Outlook for Microsoft 365, and I'm using the desktop app. When I try opening an Outlook file from my local folder after opening an instance of Outlook, the file doesn't open. I have to restart my computer and then open the Outlook file first without starting the Outlook app; only then does the file open. Also email ID links that used to open in new Outlook compose windows when clicked on earlier don't open anymore. Needless to say, this is inconvenient and annoying. I have version 1908, build 11929.20648. Please advise.

The ability to have more than one email open at a time.
What Anonymous said. Surely Gates and Msft are not that dumb. You HAVE to be able to right click and open an email in a separate tab.
Our company has started using 365 for work email now. Why in the **** is this not a default/normal ??

When opening the 'startpage' for selecting the app. It replaces the current browser Tab with the app. I would like to make the option 'start in new tab' the default.
I assume this is how most people work. You have multiple apps at the same time open.

Calendar and other apps should open in a new window...
You basically just need to copy Google, because thus thing is brutal as-is.
Allow for the inbox etc. to be viewed and navigated whilst drafting a new email. So have a new email available within the main window, but separate. Meaning I can hop into an email to view content for reference, without having to interrupt the process of drafting a new email.

There needs to be an icon in the upper right for opening incoming emails you are reading in a new window. Make it like the icon you have for open in a new window in the compose email view. Currently it is hidden in a drop down with the Reply icon

When you go to the waffle and click on a new app, it should open in a new tab.

First of all, thanks for activating the "select all" function in the Folders!! Certainly makes selecting messages in the Delete folder a more efficient process.
That said, if only I could open a message in a new window without having the reading pane open. For me the reading pane is a pain (sorry -- it was just too easy!!) -- it takes up space and is often distracting. Please consider adding "open messages in a new window" as an general function option.
Thanks for listening.
In OWA, I don't like not being able to double-click a message and bring it up in a separate window WITHOUT having the reading pane on. This used to be an option until just recently. I would like the option of having it work like the desktop version.
