Outlook for iOS

Outlook for iOS

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

  1. Add User Quarantine Management for Exchange Online

    To get quarantined messages a user has to logon to another site. This would be better managed through the Outlook iOS app.

      You need to incorporate an "UNDO" feature in case you inadvertently move an email to a wrong email folder.

        You can currently undo a move action in the app. Once you move an item to a folder, there should be an “undo move” button that will appear at the bottom of the screen shortly after moving an email.

        • Sped to launch

          Hi - is there anything that I can do to speed up the launch of the app on my iPhone and iPad? It is painfully slow and noticeable relative to other apps I use, including mail. Thanks

          • Keep my sounds and calendar colors when updating the app

            I use this app for work mail and a different app for personal mail so I know what kind of message I'm getting. But the last two times I have done the update my sounds and calendar colors have gone back to the default.

                  • Edit email address

                    If I mistype an email address it turns red. But it won't let me edit it. Instead it deletes the whole thing and I have to type it again. Let me edit the email address. I can barely type on a phone.

                      After being logged in for a few hours, keep getting prompted to sign in again. It would be nice to sign in once and not have to keep doing it.

                      • Fingerprint unlock in Android

                        Currently there is security feature in the android version of the OUTLOOK app. Not even a pin code level app protection! Considering how personal email apps are it is imperative to have this basic functionality in the android version of OUTLOOK app.

                            The problem with Outlook is that it doesn't seem to be possible to review account settings without having to re enter the password in order to get back out.

                            • Display and open outlook invites from the app

                              When receiving an email with an calendar invite (sent from outlook desktop) it won't open in the app. It opens fine with the native iOS App

                              Outlook app needs to be updated to support calendar attachments and allow them to be opened either in the outlook app, and/or the native calendar app (user choice)

                              • iOS 10 outlook problems

                                Frequent crashes since updating to iOS 10. Can't scroll down emails. Can't switch between focus and normal. Has become unusable.

                                • Unresponsive touch since iOS 10 release

                                  Hi,
                                  The touch becomes unresponsive several times while checking emails since I updated to iOS 10 on my iPhone 6 Plus. I have merged 7 email accounts in it which is the same quantity of email addresses I had for iOS 9. But it has lost all its speed and responsiveness since then.
                                  If you can fix it, it will be great.

                                      It is currently already possible to select multiple emails at once. To do so, long press on an email until a checkmark appears at the left of it. Once you’ve selected multiple emails, you’ll then be able to perform bulk actions on them, like deleting, marking as read, archiving… A “Select All” option will also appear in the top right corner.

                                    • Access from lock screen

                                      Since the update to iOS 10, you can't access from the lock screen direct in to the selected mail. It just opens the outlook app in the last visited location.

                                        • iOS 10 - Archive from lock screen

                                          I frequently managed mail from my lock screen. Until iOS 10, I could archive email directly from the lock screen vs going into the app. Can ya'all bring that back?
