Bring back search field at top of inbox
Please let me search my inbox from a search field at the top of my inbox, instead of having to click the separate magnifying glass icon at the bottom, which is less efficient.

Search, “select all”, delete
Would love to be able to do a search for specific emails from the same source or with the same subject, “select all” within the search, and then delete everything in that search with one click.

Calendar
I have a long time getting you to implant search function in the calendar where I can search for meetings, activity later in the time. Also able to search for previous activities. Google and others have it in their calendars. Hope you see the customer's needs.

Search Results Should Allow Bulk Actions
I sometimes like to search for all of a certain type of email (for example Amazon orders) and then move then all into specific folders. Currently I don't believe bulk actions are allowed from the search results page meaning every single email must be manually opened and then moved, which is very tedious. This should be easy to implement and would make life much easier!

Includ the calender in the search system
It is very annoying that the calender isn't included in search. If I want to see a special event in the calender, I have to go through all the months the find it.

Select multiple emails after searching
I would like to be able to select multiple emails after searching for similar ones. I was surprised when I wasn’t able to do that.

Search Option
Search option doesn’t work perfectly. It’s difficult to find old emails.

Search trash
I understand there are those who don’t want to search the trash folder but there are also those who do. I would like to suggest a toggle option to serve both needs. Right now if I delete something and need to find it in a week I have to use the desktop app.

Search should go deeper
For some reason when I search for mail inside one of my folders or by someone’s email it only brings up a couple. I should be able to access any email from that folder or email, no?

Accurate search results
When searching emails by name or key words, the results given should match more accurately. When I type a specific word I get results that are not relevant and have to scroll to find words that match within the results. Specifically in outlook for IOS, I don’t get all matching results. It typically only shows emails from me, when I actually need the original sent to me. Outlook didn’t used to behave this way in either iOS or windows.

Ability to navigate file structure in Onedrive
This used to be simple, but now seems impossible. The only way I can look for Onedrive files is with the search function, but it never finds the files I need.

Select All after Filter
Need to be able to filter on a sender, subject, or keyword, then “Select All Filtered”, and then have options (for only the selected) to delete, archive, move, etc...

Search via pull-down, not separate screen
It’s really confusing to have to go to another screen to search. Everything else on my iPad has a Search box which you pull down from the top of the list of things to be searched (in this case, that would be the list of email titles). As a consequence, every time I need to search, I try to pull down the list of emails, and then realise that won’t work...

Open keyboard on search
It is a small thing, but when hitting the search magnifying glass if the keyboard would automatically pop up that would be great. Saves a click!

Single touch search
To search I have to;
1) touch search magnifying glass
2) touch on text field
3) after entering text, i have to touch ‘search’.Suggest when search magnifying glass is touched, search field is auto selected with keyboard available straight away. Search should commence after 1.5 seconds of no further entry (with search cancelled if further text is entered).

Toggle to search a specific mailbox
By default the search returns results from all mailboxes. Please add a toggle or an option to search within a specific mailbox when there are multiple accounts configured in Outlook for iOS.

Ability to swipe to delete or mark unread while searching
If you search for emails from a user, once it displays the results swiping left and right on specific emails doesn’t work. Adding this would be a very easy way to help clean up the inbox or to delete items that aren’t needed. Currently you have to go into each email and delete it from that screen, so there’s a lot of repetitive steps needed when working with a lot of emails.
