Support for starred messages
Make it easy for user to (1) star messages in inbox and (2) quickly access the starred message folder.
This is the only feature that is keeping me from using Outlook as my mobile mail app. Please see CloudMagic for how this starred functionality might be executed.

MY COMPANY IS FORCING EVERYONE TO OUTLOOK FOR IOS AND THIS SUX. GIVE ME STARS FOR MY VIPS AND THE ABILITY TO GIVE THEM A SPECIAL TONE/SOUND FOR EMAILS. HOW DIFFICULT IS THIS? AND YES, I'M YELLING....WHICH IS A SPECIAL SOUND I TRY NOT TO USE UNLESS ADDRESSING STUPIDITY.

Click on the star and it moves the email to a fixed position at the top of the inbox.

Besides (or instead of) having individual filtered list under Inbox > folder list for every contact that was starred, you could introduce an option under Filters on main Inbox screen itself.
Call it Favorites or Starred or VIP and clicking on that should filter out messages from all the “starred” senders. Would be super useful, particularly for the O365 Work account. -

i think the folders and messages should be available offline, every time i want to get information from an old message that i moved to a folder, it takes time to load and if there is no internet it will not load

For Gmail accounts add ‘Starred’ to folder list.
Any messages starred in Gmail or flagged in Outlook will be listed in the Starred folder.

I would like to be able to mark messages as important and view important messages in a delegate folder. This would help the organisation of my mails.

Well I had the same issue and was able to just get it working. Here is what i did.
1. I use Outlook 365 which has a "Quick Steps" option. So You can create a quick step to "Flag a message+Move to a Folder(starred_Outlook)"
2. Now in Iphone mail app, go to edit at the top right corner and add this new "Starred_Outlook" folder to show up.Now it shows up below the Gmail Starred folder... yay.

Request you to kindly add the option of creating personal folders. And enable us to add mails to respective folders according to our wish..
("MOVE TO" option in GMail)Also, help us Star Mark the mails which we feel as important.
Both option are available on GMail..
