Include mail from other folders in threads
In the desktop version of outlook, when using threaded view, all emails that contributed to a specific subject are shown, regardless of the folder they reside (they are also shown in gray font with their actual folder besides them).
This is very useful if one is to visit a thread from sometime ago that it's mails are stored in various folders. It improves on continuity and a total view on a subject.
I would really love to get the same great feature in iOS, having this experience with the PC version.

When in threaded mode, and while viewing a single email, there is no way to move the email to a folder. All you can do is reply, forward and delete. This forces me to go back to my PC to file the email to the folder. The IOS mail app does this.

Good to have feature to move a message in a thread to folder.
Helps when Organise by Thread is switched ON
It would be helpful to see all emails one after another. Within communication mod, attachments disappear...
Show sent emails in inbox.

I can’t see my intelligence folder which filters today emails from desktop app version.
It’s very annoying have to go to each folder to view new incoming emails

Have tons of emails for work. Would like to see the emails I have sent in the conversation as well to help remind me what has taken place.

When reviewing a long thread, I’d like an easier way to read individual messages within the thread, without marking the entire thread as read and without the UI collapsing important portions of messages within the thread.
The iOS mail client has a much better view for mail threads.
The iOS calendar is horrible. If email thread views where more functional in mobile Outlook, I would never use the iOS client.

Please modify the threads to look like conversation group on Outlook desktop app. The current IOS threads function is very confusing. Check out IOS mail app for reference
It would be fantastic if once a message I️t sent, I️t automatically appears in the thread!!
Right now, you have to go to the inbox and then back to the message for the most recent sent message to appear at the bottom!
Could we get this to happen in real time??

When an email is answered and sent remove email from inbox and just show reply and chain in sent

Update "sort by thread" functionality so sent messages don't show up in the conversation. Much like Apple mail does it.
When you rotate your phone and it toggles between portrait to landscape and back it loses your place when viewing an email conversation. It seems to place you some place in the middle. Rotating the phone shouldn't make you lose what you were looking at.
I found when at the bottom of an email conversation and rotate from portrait to landscape I'm still at the bottom of the email conversation. However, when I rotate back to portrait I'm placed at some random place in the middle of the conversation left having to scroll all the way to the bottom. For long email conversations this can take a while.
I think rotating the phone shouldn't lose what you were viewing.
Especially in the new view that makes a thread look like a text message chat. In this view, you must have my messages displayed too. Otherwise it looks really different from iMessage, FBI messenger etc, and feels broken.

Should have option to view previous sent mail or series of mail for same subject to track the same.
No need to go to sent item or specific folder to respond on that mail.
Hello, outlook is great but I'm having trouble checking my work emails which are grouped in a thread. I can't seem to mark just selected emails as unread rather outlook marks all the emails in the thread as unread when I do so. Also, it would be nice if I could expand the list from inbox itself, like how the iOS email app allows me to do. Thanks

Please, please, please add functionality to turn OFF (toggle) showing messages from other folders - just like the desktop version of Outlook 2016!
This is the only reason I don't use this app on a regular basis.
Outlook 2016 (Desktop)
VIEW -> CONVERSATION SETTINGS -> Show Messages from Other Folders (toggle on/off)

When a threaded email chain is in different folders, they don't appear as threads.
Example: I moved emails from a coworker to a sub folder in the inbox. When I receive a new message from him the only messages I see are my own from sent and his most recent message in the inbox. His other messages do not appear as they are in a sub folder.
When I click on an email to review a thread, I just see those emails in the current folder. I then have to expand the email to see earlier reply text embedded, but I can't actually see the earlier emails. It would be better to show those emails in the thread and indicate what folder they are in.
