Live updating of lock screen notifications
Can you please make it so that lock screen notifications get updated/cleared automatically (just like the built in iOS mail app)? In other words, if a new mail notification comes in on the lock screen, but then I read that email on my desktop, that the lock screen notification automatically goes away. This would be SO helpful. Thank you!
Same form me, and it is strange: because with TEAMS this is already happening.
Please, make sure that when we read an email on desktop or another phone or iPad, the notifications on the other iOS and ANDROID devices will disappear.
Who gets lots of emails find the notifications messed up!

Stop duplicating notifications on mobile if the desktop client is online
THis is still an issue 5 years later and is infuriating. Would appreciate not having duplicate notifications on my phone after having read emails on my laptop

For example on Gmail when the email is marked as read on another device the notification goes away on all devices. Outlook does not do this. This is extremely infuriating and annoying when I have the pull down on the email and mark it as read on my iPhone and my iPad as I work with both. PLEASE FIX. Also when the email is marked as read by pulling down on the notification the notification badge on the Outlook app does not dissapear.
Notification on my lock screen are not removed when I read the emails on other devices or the web. They need to be refreshed and updated to the current state of the inbox.
Outlook for iOS should send notifications only when the user is inactive on desktop or web. The same functionality exists with teams app for iOS.
I would like to see a live red notification number outside of the outlook app, whenever I get a new email. So that I can be aware when I have received an email. Please and thank you.
If I read an email on my outlook desktop app or web application, it will be good that the push notification of that mail can be cleared automatically
Every time I get a new email, I need to refresh my inbox several times to make the red notification dot on the app icon to disappear.
All natives apps do not flash notification on iPhone when you are using your MacBook. Thereby saving power on iPhone. However mail and teams apps show notification both on iPhone and Mac simultaneously.
Request: Notification on iPhone should be flashed only if MacBook is not on or not connected to same WiFi network.
Microsoft Teams allows notifications to be received only if inactive on desktop. Align outlook so only when inactive on desktop are notifications received on mobile.

Even after viewing my emails, the number of “unread” emails still show on the app. I have to go back into the app to refresh it and wait for the number goes away.
Same issue here across multiple devices using the latest Outlook app and Outlook on the desktop as of 02-14-2020.
When I open the emails from one of the devices or from my Windows desktop, the notifications on the lock/unlocked screen should go away for those emails that were opened already but they do not.

If I read/process my email anywhere else other than the iOS Outlook app, the notification is iOS should be smart and be removed. Right now, my phone keeps showing me about dozens of notifications of emails that I already read/moved/deleted/etc. that aren't relevant anymore. This effectively makes the notifications feature rather useless or redundant unless a user is 100% mobile
Currently, when the emails are read using another email client, the banners and icon of the app are not updated automatically, even when the app has access to background app refresh.

I hate that I get notifications for email that went to spam.

Hi, I noticed that all the read emails from my laptop still shows up as unread on my iPhone-outlook email boxes.
It’ll be great if all emails read on any devices can be shown read on my phone, as then it gets confused, and need to spend extra time to mark the unread emails as read all over again. Other wise I end up having loads of unread emails in my outlook mail box!

Similar to how Teams has the option of whether to receive notifications “Always” or “When I’m not active on desktop,” I’d like to see that for Outlook. When I’m at work, it’s very annoying to have my phone constantly alerting me of new emails. I already know I have new emails, that’s what all the various desktop alert functions are for.

This feature used to work for me on iOS and the Outlook app and then it recently broke. Now it won't clear e-mails from the lockscreen that I check on Outlook 365 web or desktop client.
This functionality is available on Facebook Messenger (messages clear from lock screen that you read in your desktop client). I hope Outlook can have it too.
Allow user to set time of how long the new email notification pop-up stays visible on the screen
