Search folders when moving an email
Need folder quick search, either to see contents or to move emails to a folder faster

When you move mail to a sub folder structure should be better to see the tree folder.
I.e. Incoming mail\customer\Amazon -

I have many folders under the inbox, to find one folder a have to scroll all the way through find it.
Adding a search bar will make it much easier to type and find the folder directly.

When clicking on three dashes in left upper corner, would be nice if you could search for a folder rather than having to scroll all the way down to the one you are looking for. So adding a search bar at the top would be nice. Thanks for your consideration. Cheryl

Add a search bar to the email folder menu so we don't have to scroll when moving/filing a message or looking for one. With many folders this is a waste of time.

When filing messages that are similar in content or sender, prompt to move to the email storage file when selecting to move

Let more emails, i.e. Comcast.net etc to be used on the app email and calendar system

When you click the Move Email icon and you're taken to your folder list, place the cursor to the search field rather than having to place it there yourself with a another click.

It would be nice if there was a way to move the emails to a certain folder like can be done on my iPhone and computer.

In the desktop clients when you are moving an email you can start typing the folder name to move it to. When you have a lot of folders this is SO useful. On a phone it is sooooo painful scrolling all of your folders to find the one you want to move the email to. This would save a TON of time.

I would like to be able to search subfolders... Right now all it does is search Inbox, sent etc it DOES NOT search subfolders even though there are a number of feature requests asking for this feature (most of which are marked as completed).

This suggestion was ticked as completed but, unless I'm misssing something, this is only the case when moving emails, not for retrieving emails.

I have a very extensive sub folder hierarchy which shows up in one long almost never ending list. I can scroll and scroll and eventually find a folder, but it's painful. It would be great to be able to type a few letters at the top to filter the folder list to those whose name has those characters and then just select the folder and jump right into it.
If you use folders extensively, then this capability is almost a requirement.

I have mails in different folders and would request the ability to be able to search by folder when looking for a mail. The search results are currently cluttered as I know in which folder the mail will be in however the current search clutters the results by showing me matches in the All mail folder.

You could make moving an email into a folder much faster if the search window opened up automatically and the keyboard was made available to search for the folder to move it to without having to tap the search box.

Note - added to Outlook for iOS suggestion box as there was no suggestion box for Outlook for Windows and this is where the team proposed I make the suggestion.

On Outlook for Windows, when moving an email, the ability to find a destination folder by searching for it (like you can when using Outlook for iOS).

It will be great if we can have a quick access folder on the left bar, below all the other accounts. Instead of us clicking individual accounts to find that specific folders.
This function is to allow us to view specific folder that we often will view daily.

When moving emails into specific folders I find vey useful the search box available in the apps for phone and iPad... It would love to have the same feature in the desktop version.

Ability to search for folders from the contextual menu. Now only the option to scroll to the respective folder
