It very difficult to move one by one emails. Suggestion is to allow a search the email, select or select all the searches email and move option for moving the email to specific email.

While navigating in the folder tree, searching for a folder name will make it much easier to find what you want

Completely agree. There is no ability to search for folders, each time I have to scroll down through each and every folder, this is simply not practical. There is also no ability to collapse the view of subfolders so you see only main head folders in iOS as you can on the laptop.

When moving an email to a folder you have to scroll to find the folder you want to move the email to. It would be much easier to additionally have a search box to be able to start typing in the name of the folder rather than have to scroll and look.

This is a capability in IOS version. When you are moving/saving an email outlook show you both, a list of folders and a searching bar. In android version there is no searching bar. It’s is a very powerful tool!!!!

Should be able to file individual emails into folders. Now that they are all grouped by conversation, whatever i do to one, i do to the entire group, ie deleting, moving, etc

I have recently been using the Outlook app for iOS and there are a lot of issues for people like myself that organise their emails in folders and subfolders.
In my root folder I have the following folders:
Inbox (... marks other folders):
...
[0-9]
[A-D]
...
[U-Z]Then for each of these folders I have subfolders like this:
...
[A-D]
=> [A]
===> Acronis
=====> Newsletters
=====> Orders
=====> Support
===> Adobe
=====> Newsletters
=====> Orders
=====> Support
=> [B]
=> [C]
=> [D]
...You have got the picture, there are a lot of folders.
Now when I want to move an email to a subfolders the list of folders shown is tremendous because I get to see all my folders as an expanded list.
Also I cannot figure out when moving an email to a new folder how I can create a subfolder. Like it works now it seems to always create a folder in the root. For example if I want to create the Glympse folder in the following location I have to do this through the Outlook.com website:
Root
==> [E-H]
====> [G]
======> GlympseThe management of folders needs to be added asap and you should take into account the possibility of a large number of folders + subfolders in your dialogs. I have the same issue with the Outlook.com beta which completely ignores the users with a large number of folders.

Three letters or more should find folders, sub folders, and be tied to using only the beginning of the folder name

Just not user friendly. How can you select more than one email. If you want to put several emails into a folder. You have to scroll through all of your folders. You should be able to enter the first letter of the folder you want it in.

Need to have search folders view which is available in desktop version

Similar to Apple email be so much easier if once I’ve opened an email I have the button to immediately move to a folder and the app learns which folder it is most likely going to go in. Apple don’t always get it right but 80% of the time they do.

When I search I would like to then be able to move one of the returned emails to another folder. If I open the email it shows the option to move but that fails to do so ie email remains in original folder.
Also thought it would be great to be able to action en-mass by multi selecting and moving. You can do this if browsing emails in a folder but not from search results.

If there are a lot of folders where you want to jump in, a search bar at the top of the folder list would be great. Same search that is available when you move a mail from the inbox to a folder.

for those of us that use this app for business, and who maintain extensive folder structures for ‘filing’ - it would be great to enable a better folder-tree view when searching for destination folders.

The search folder and move does not function with the last update

Yes. Need to be able to search the list of folders when I want to open / enter that folder. Like you can when moving a message. Maybe a search box at the top of the fly out folder list to rapidly narrow that list?

The search function is there but it is inadequate. Image you have multiple folders or sub folders with the same name. The search gives them al. Which one do you pick???
